I have used Virgin broadband since 2003 which I use to access my AOL email. I recently realised that the AOL charge per month had gone up to a whopping £26 a month and then after some digging…

BT - How exactly DO you get 'Customer service'?
:mad:I switched to BT at the beginning of February and have had regular (ofter twice per day) line drops. Sporadic, intermittent and very awkward to fix. BT have not been able to nail it down and are now telling me I don't have a fault (it didn't happen with my previous ISP). I am desperately trying to get my issue…

Upgrading to Virgin wifi router - how will this impact my (cabled) home network?
I currently have a cable modem to deliver my Virgin media 10mbs broadband service and this is connected to my home network router (Netgear) via a cable. Tesco phone and broadband - any good?
Our TT bill has crept up to over 35/mo with the 5.00 data surcharge, and daytime phone usage. Been looking at alternatives, including Tesco - which is 16.75/mo or 20.75/mo with anytime phone (12/mo contract, charges rising thereafter). BT have some good deals, but got burned by them before. We don't watch TV so not…

Hi there, I am about to move house in a couple of weeks and am checking out the broadband situation in my new flat. No mention of Virgin installation costs
I was a very happy Virgin Media customer. I was with them for four years, with broadband, phone and TV package. In March I informed them I was moving house and wanted to stay with Virgin at my new place. I went through the process on the phone and all seemed okay. Nothing was mentioned about installation costs. I moved,…

Virgin Rant
A 12 month deal with Virgin has just expired for broadband, £20 for 30mb. Fair enough, they now want £30. Back in March the 30mb was supposed to double to 60mb but this has never happened. They offer me £25 for 60mb, and I say I should have already been getting 60mb for £20! Had they upgraded on time. So my 30mb for £30…

Why do I need a landline?
I'm looking around at internet providers and keeping being told I have to have a landline, could someone advise if this is true and if so why? I thought the ays of internet via the phone line had gone. Is it just a way of keeping £120+ a year of my money? I don't use a landline anymore due to the mobile era! Thanks
