Three mobile BB dongle getting password reminder
A friend forgot his password so asked for a reminder (on the three web site) when trying to log in. So entered the mobile dongle number followed by the last six digits from his sim card. Then a message appeared saying the password will be sent by text to his mobile phone. BUT this is a BB dongle. Any thoughts?

I'm looking into the possibility of getting an iPhone instead of getting home broadband. Is it in any way a viable alternative to actually having broadband on laptop? Can you done online shopping (Grocery etc.) with it? Is the expense worth it? Being almost £400 if I am to upgrade to it early.
