Is anyone here on sky broadband.Got low internet speed takes about 5 mins to load a page.All ok this morning then come home from work and slow,have reset pc and router but same problem.Just wondering if anyone else is having same problem.chesterfield,derbyshire area.

Do you pay £18 a month?

Post the name of your exchange and someone can check.
Or do an exchange search on www.samknows.com and look for the listed LU providers.

I pay 7.50 a month for unlimited and the exchange is chesterfield.

Have things improved?

Try logging on to your router and posting its line statistics.

Your link to the exchange seems OK at around 5Mbps.

Are web pages still really slow to load?

Do other applications work OK

Maybe do an antimalware scan, and a virus scan, clear your internet cache.

The pages are loading faster now but sometimes they take a couple of mins to load.I know its not the laptop im writing on has my desktop pc is doing the same.Perhaps they are working on the line or something.Done all the scans and all came back clean on both pcs.

I'm out of ideas now, is one of the PCs connected using Ethernet (clutches at a straw)?
I'm thinking there might be a wireless issue.

Chesterfield was not listed as one of their problem areas, you might have to give them a call.
