Best option for short term?
I have friend who has moved into rented accomodation for 4 months before she moves back home to New Zealand. She would like internet access for that time and I've been trying to look at the options for her. Orange seems to have the best mobile broadband coverage for the area at a cost of £29 for the dongle (I have an…

plusnet problem
I switched to Plusnet last November and for the first few months had no problems. Then in February they overcharged me by £20 and since then it has been like getting blood out of a stone to try and get the money back. They keep saying they have sent money to my account but it never actually appears. At one time I cancelled…

Spare dongle on contract - can I transfer it?
Dear all, as the last person in the world able at last to get adsl (or that's how it feels anyway) I now have a spare mobile broadband dongle on contract with 12 months left to run. I'd be happy to freecycle it or give it to a friend but obviously I'd still be liable for the costs until the contract finishes and I can…

Quidco cashback
I signed up with Plusnet and went through the Quidco site. But I have had no indication of how or when I received the cashback, nor any sort of confirmation that there is a cashback. Opinions on SKY Unlimited Broadband most welcome
Have been using AOL since we installed our PC just over 4 years ago. My current 12 month contract expires at the end of March and I'm debating to move to SKY. Upgraded to AOL 9.1 on Thursday night and experienced a horrendous weekend with so many problems. I'm uncertain if this was due to upgrade or problems with our local…

Leaving sky - options
Posted this in TV section but got no response so thought I would ask here if anyone had any pointers? I've just cancelled Sky as it was starting to cost us too much per month (£40 with phone calls, plus £12 BT line rental) we didn't really watch many of the channels anyway, although did really like the recording facility.…

I've just moved to a new house in the Watford exchange area and was planning on signing up for Be's value package. Alas, a cryptic message on their site said it was available on the exchange but they couldn't currently provide it. A quick call to their sales hotline and I established that they have run out of capacity on…
