I was planning to take plusnet value standalone broadband.
There was code which gave 4 months free in 12 months contract. Has it expired?
Also, how is the service and is it avalaible in CF23 area ?
Thanks for any help.

I have found Plusnet excellent, but I don't do online gaming, also very little downloading.
Plusnet is owned by BT now so be aware if you're a BT phobic.
However their billing is first rate, I've never needed customer service (3yrs) so can't comment there. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
The 4 months free offer has now expired. However you can still get £43 cashback if you sign up via Quidco.
The service is available on any exchange, as it's not LLU.
However the price will vary according to whether you are on a Market 1 or Market 3 exchange, check yours on:

Do you mean Roath/Cardiff? If so then I think this (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/SWRTH) is your exchange and Plusnet is available in your area at the cheaper prices - so just £5.99 for Plusnet Value.
Plusnet's prices are going up really soon though, the 11th April, I think Plusnet Value is going up by a pound or two a month - but existing customers if you sign up before your price won't be increased. So it's worth acting fairly quickly if you can.
Plusnet is good, very reliable, good customer service. There is a full review of their package here http://www.chooseisp.co.uk/broadband-.../plusnet-value.asp which might help.
The only thing to watch is if you go over the 10GB limit on Value you'll be charged £2 per 2GB you go over, and I think that might be rising to £5 per 5GB - and it will be charged in batches, so even if you only go over by a bit you'll get charged for a whole 2GB.0 -
No it is only rising by 50p to £6.49.Do you mean Roath/Cardiff? If so then I think this (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/SWRTH) is your exchange and Plusnet is available in your area at the cheaper prices - so just £5.99 for Plusnet Value.

Yes of course you can.
If not used it expires after 30 days and your contract continues. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I have been with Plusnet for 8 years and never had a problem, just changed to there £11.99 for 3 months deal 80 gig limit for 3 months then increases to £15.99 I believe but as I am at home a lot now its reasonable.0

As an IT supplier I have found the 10gb limit for Plusnet Value Broadband suits a lot of my clients. Even when it goes up to £6.49 it'll still represent great value.0

Has anyone else had problems migrating to Plusnet?
Broadband was unexpectedly cut off 2 days ago - and now I've got to wait until Monday before they will even look at it.
Combination of my previous provider cutting us off early - and no Plusnet engineers work weekends.
Not a good start to a new relationship.
(Have had to borrow a friend's broadband to post this).0 -

Plusnet don't have 'engineers'. Your migration is handled by BT Openreach, if the migration was scheduled for Monday then that is when OR would reconnect you.
If you used a MAC to migrate then this should not arise-sounds like an error by your existing ISP, as the downtime should be no more than a couple of hours-but always on a weekday. No free lunch, and no free laptop
