Entitlement to Income Support
My son has finished his studies at university. I am disabled and he is claiming carer's allowance. He would like to claim Income Support, but has £8000 savings. Can he pay the £8000 to the student loans company and after that claim income support? He will not be able to go to work for a long time. Thanks in advance.

How would my tax credit change
hi all, i live with my son who is an apprentice and a daughter who is at sixth form. i only claim WTC and CTC for my daughter, my son gives me a little board out of his small wage. i work 28 hours a week but i might be offered an extra 4 hours taking me to 32 hours. how would this affect my WTC would it be cut by a lot.
