Changing from IS to working :)

Hi,
My daughter has got herself a job at last - she has been looking and applying since she left college in June.
She is currently on IS (single Mum), CTC, HB & CT Credit. I believe she is now eligible for WTC, etc.
Can anyone shed any light on how long it takes for changes to become effective as she obviously has to pay her childminder and part of her rent and Council Tax.
Thanks

For me tax credits were sorted by the time my next payment was due.
She should get a 4 week run on for HB and CTB.
If she has a new deal adviser she can speak to them about childcare- there are funds available to pay the first couple of weeks in some circumstances.
