Hi. I own my own house through inheritance and it is in my name only. I have a boyfriend who has £13,000 unsecured debt. If we marry can they take my house away from me even though it is in my name only, also if my partner went Bankrupt after we are married can they take my house?? Many thanks.

Who do you put for the debtor if the debt has been sold on?
I have a number of credit cards where the debt has been bought by a debt recovery agency. If I'm going bankrupt, what name of debtor should I put on the form? Does your credit file have both names on? Any advice would be grateful.
