Creditor calls now BR has been granted

For the past 3-4 months we have been avoiding creditor calls (and laughing at the attitude of some of them when leaving voicemails, specifcally RMA, who do these people think they are?!). As we are now BR, we had our forms stamped yesterday, what should we do? Should we wait for the OR to contact us, or should we now take the calls, "politely" tell them our news and advise them that the OR will be in touch?
Personally I can't wait to be able to answer the phone again without worry.... the clouds are getting their silver linings back!

It is up to you what you do.
Different people have done different things in the past depending on their situation and disposition.
Personally, I would send each one a letter informing them of the BR with a copy of the BR order instructing them to contact the OR.
Once you know they have received that you can tell any callers to "bog off".
Other people don't bother.
If all you do is give callers you BR details and tell them to contact the OR, then that is OK as well.

When they ring don't answer the security questions just tell them you re bankrupt number xx of blah blah court. My OR is Fred Smith and his contact details are ............. . It is now illeagal for you to ring me and any further calls will elicit a complaint to the OFT. Keep a log on who phones when.
If they ring back again, as some are notorously ineficiant then ask them to look at the London Gazette while you are on the phone. If they continue to phone then send details to the OR and the OFT.
Some people send copies of their BO to their creditors.Namaste DeeDee x0 -
