I would like to know all your ideas on old style beauty & toiletries.
For example. Use olive oil as a baby massage oil for my son and also as a lotion for our skin. Also use olive oil as a conditioner. Or use lentils as a hair conditioner.
Looking for other ideas to make your own... face mask, shampoo, body lotion, clean teeth, whitening teeth, bubble bath, face srub, make up, shampoo, hair conditioner,

crushed strawberries make a great facial scrub in the summer time - good for using those ones that are just a little too ripe - ideally they should be used for skin that would benefit from something mildley antiseptic
avocado is great on dehydrated skin
oats can be used as a body scrub but would not use of face, imo its too harsh unless you have really tough skin!!
cold water does the same job as toner - splash on liberally after cleansing it rinses off the excess cleanser and grime and the coldness of the water closes up the pores
cant think of anymore right at this moment in time:EasterBun ...what more do I need to say?!

Not beauty related, but when my DH puts the childrens chains back on their bikes and his hands are all oily, he rubs granulated sugar into them to get it off.MFW 1/5/08 £45,789 Cleared mortgage 1/02/13
