Hey.
My best friend has just rang me in an utter panic that her fake tan has gone horrid and streaky in very obvious places. She cant get out to the shops till saturday to buy corrective wipes (but the tan would have faded by then probably) so she's begging for my advice. My usual tip of giving it a good soaking of hairspray (not on the face) then rubbing firmly hasnt brought it off...
SO....
i throw the challenge to the OS tribe.... any home made quick fix fake tan fixers?

Don't use it myself but would not using a body scrub help remove the top layer of skin and thus remove the fake tan
Only thing I can think of.

I'm having the same problem. Answered the phone after applying to my legs - they now look like someones smeared marmite down them! I've resorted to wearing trousers until it fades - although I have heard that exfoliating works - but I have none!Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!

If she doesn't have a body scrub to hand she could use oil and salt. You just pour some olive or other cooking oil in your hand then add a few teaspoons of salt and rub, this is great for crusty hands too.0

Sugar and baby oil works as an exfoliant as well.0

I tried some fake bake last week, and went a lovely shade of orange & streaky too.
Brought to mind the advertising slogan: You know when you've been tango-ed.
Thank god is was cold last week so I could wear trousers. It's faded to a muted orange now.:D0 -

I usually swear by spraying enough hairspray onto the problem area then wiping off..... always works for me but it might be my brand of hairspray/fake tan!
I must say i totally love those fake tan booths where they spray you. My friend keeps getting free vouchers to go and get them done. I was a bit nervous when i had to go in in my paper knickers (im a bit wobbly in places) but was relieved to see the woman instructing me was twice my size and pale as porcelain... made me relax a bit.0
