Blasted thing - still ain't shifting - and its getting hotter and hotter outside!! And I want to get a skirt or shorts on!

Isn't it just typical - fades really quickly when you don't want it to, and stays fast when you are desperate for it to shift!!

Perhaps I should give the Tippex tip a whirl!!!

Cillit Bang also came to my rescue with a hair dye disaster. I put the colour on in what I thought was a successful way. The bottle even said something like, "and now relax with a cuppa for 30 mins whilst the colour works its magic". As I was about to leave the bathroom I noticed the first brown splodge, then another etc. The bathroom looked like a scene from the Texas Chainsaw Massarce, and for the next 30 mins I was scrubbing the floor, tiles, wood paint etc with Cillit Bang. Good knows how I managed to get it every where but I did. I thought the coast and bathroom was clear and my hair actually turned out fine. It was only later that eve when OH said, "OMG, you have got the strangest brown rash all over your back and neck" that I realised my mission was not over yet. I didn't dare use Cillit bang on me, I just let it fade and gave it a good scrub every day with the loofah in the shower. Eventually it went, but I think it lasted longer than the hair colour! :rotfl:

I was thinking about this thread earlier and decided I had to post a second reply.

Why do women have to dye their hair and use fake tan?
Ok, I know some men do it too, but why?

I've never seen a totally successful fake tan self-application process.

And, the $64,000 - why do you insist on spending hours in the bathroom / deciding what to wear / applying make-up / doing your hair / re-applying make-up ??

How about this then ,we spend time in a great deal of pain plucking our eyebrows out one by one then we take a pencil and draw them back on again!!

Granted. most of you are worth it. Some evil B!tches aren't - but that's another thread.

Do you make yourself up, dress nicely, dye your hair for you, or do you do it so that you look good to others? if you understand what I mean?
