Do you make yourself up, dress nicely, dye your hair for you, or do you do it so that you look good to others? if you understand what I mean?
Ohhh I don't really count in that lot.
When I get to school in the morning other Mums generally will mention the blotches in my make-up...while rubbing at them !!!

I don't really overdo it but you have to look vaguely presentable for work!
    Days off... don't bother!

I actually laughed out loud to that one, now the cat is looking at me as though I've just arrived from space!

PS: As for the fake tan issue, I find that a long soak in the bath followed by rubbing with a towel will remove the worst of it.

I was thinking about this thread earlier and decided I had to post a second reply.

Why do women have to dye their hair and use fake tan?
Ok, I know some men do it too, but why?

I've never seen a totally successful fake tan self-application process.

And, the $64,000 - why do you insist on spending hours in the bathroom / deciding what to wear / applying make-up / doing your hair / re-applying make-up ??
I never ever leave the house without make-up, don't feel dressed without it.
Fake tan, if you've ever seen the 1980s film Cocoon (with Steve Guttenberg), I am the colour of the people that come out of the Cocoons - dazzling!!!! Its for the safety of others that I wear it!!! :D

How long before the "HOW DO I GET FAKE TAN OFF A BATH TOWEL" thread is posted:D

Women spend hours putting on make-up, dye their hair, shave their pits and buy shoes they can't walk in because if they didn't they would be men. A Hummingbird's feathers will always need more preening than a Sparrows IMO

My friend had a really expensive st troupez tan for her wedding last week. Her face was fine (thankfully) but her arms were streaky and her elbows were black. Everyone was too polite to mention it though. :)

A hairdresser friend of mine says she uses medicated shampoo to get excess hair dye off and reckons it works on fake tan too.

Because you would not want to be exposed to my ghastly white legs. Most people don't even realise I'm wearing fake tan because I look pale to them, but, believe me, I dazzle like white lights! Think red hair, freckles and blue eyes... I rest my case x
