I have been told either toothepaste(?) or clinique clarifying lotion helps, but I haven't tried either of them!

If your friend has any hydrogen peroxide in her medicine cabinet this will remove the streaks when applied with cotton wool:D.
You should always exfolliate (and in theory moisturize but I never bother with this) prior to applying fake tan, this will really help prevent streaks in future. Oh, and it's polite to call it bronzer, not fake tan, now apparently:rolleyes:

:rotfl: :T I hope my PC doesn't blow up from all the tears of laughter that have fell on it reading this post. It reminded me of being a teenager and buying Clearasil tinted in a shade they described as 'FLESH' I stupidly thought they were refering to human flesh and not the skin off a satsuma;) Hope normal skin tone will resume soon.

Lemon Juice! (from a bottle, like Jif lemon.)

And preferably mixed with salt for extra exfoliation. It worked for me when I got streaks on my forearms when doing my legs, oops!

Just as well they changed 'Jif' cream to 'Cif' or you could end up with sore skin

.....mind you, it might just be the stuff you need :rotfl:
(I take no responsibility whatever if you dare to try this!)

Try lemon juice and sugar mixed to a paste and left for a few minutes before scubbing off with lots of warmish water.

When i had white blonde hair i decided to put a neon pink streak underneath which looked fab till i went to wash it off. Bloody dye stained by back, neck, face, hands.... god knows how i got THAT covered in it...

Good old Cillit Bang took all the dye off.... did leave me with a slight chemical burn on my cheek though.

Ancasta tip of the day : Do not operate hair dye after 2 bottles of Blosson Hill

How do you put a pink neon streak underneath your hair?

Oh, and to the problem of the fake tan - do you want your skin to be white or slightly tanned?

You could use tipp-ex to get it white and a teabag for slightly tanned?

Surgical spirit with salt in it?

I should have worded it better, i wanted a pink streak on the underneath half of my hair. Its called an undercolour.

Well guessing my friend was using fake tan, im guessing she wanted her skin brown. She Just told me she managed to get it off using boots own brand (white label) baby wipes and giving her legs a good scrubbing with them. She said she used a fair few though.

I wouldnt mind really but they were *my* baby wipes that i had left at her house! grrrr!
