Cash in Hand Job - Then Not Paid!!
A young gentleman who is a close friend of the family took a cash in hand job as a pot washer in a working mens club. He was paid at first but then after a long period of doing shifts, the owner stopped offering him work and has refused to pay him for the shifts he did. There are no records other than the whatsapps between…

Raise the Tax Allowance to £15000 at no cost
Just a thought, raising National Insurance helps working people, but not people who don't pay it. Why not raise the tax allowance to £15000 and then raise the 40% rate to say 42%. The higher paid then pay a bit more tax but save on the higher allowance, meaning lower paid and pensioners get a bit more but it doesn't cost…

Norstat/Panelbase Change for the worse!
Never had any issues with surveys from Panelbase. But two I got today which have been regular ones before and always paid ended in either already full. But only said once you finished it! Or “oops something went wrong!” message again only appearing after you completed it! Also these badges and stars you can earn look like…

Quidco - Cashback for Returned Order
Hopefully I've put this in the right place. I was given cashback for an order that was returned. I assumed that the retailer (Currys) would've declined the cashback but its gone through and available to withdraw. The chatbot doesn't quite have the information needed and I can't see a way to get in touch with a real person.…

Extra Jobs = More tax?
Hi, this may seem like a daft question but in my attempts to make ends meet I've topped up my part time working hours by picking up additional temp jobs and other part time jobs. I work 18.5 hours a week at one of them, 6 hours a week at the other one, and a various number of hours at any other I can pick up each week…

Loot.tv
Loot.tv seems to be similar to Hideout (sign up, earn for seeing ads in videos and then redeem the points) but part of Lootably, and that offer wall was added to Keep Rewarding in October. When I first checked there weren't any videos available but there are now.Anyone got any experience of using Loot? The owner of Keep…

In between jobs
I am a civil engineer by training/profession. I have found myself out of work for the last few months. I am claiming the job-seekers allowance. I am looking for ideas for temp jobs. Ideally using my skills. I have tried temporary roles within the engineering sector but with no luck yet. I am thinking of the following: Exam…

Shoppix App - Closing Account Due To Being "Oversubscribed In Your Area"?
I have been with Shoppix for years - today I got an alert telling me about "Important Information".Apparently my account is to be closed as they are 'oversubscribed in my area'. If I'm a veteran member, why would they suddenly let me go? Has this happened to anyone else? Are there any good alternatives? To be fair, Shoppix…

Topcashback referral
A while ago I referred a friend to TCB when they were doing an additional £10 bonus ie £30 for me and £10 for her. I see at the moment it's £20 for me as a signed up and qualified referral. Does the person I am referring also get anything on a standard referral, or only when they are doing a bonus offer?

Hi. Did anyone get a Ziffit Promo code for trading in stuff this month? I saw one pop up on my phone. I tapped on it but that just opened the app without showing me the code. Other times, it pops up every time on the scan screen (very annoying) but nothing this time. Thanks.

£1,000 reporting on eBay sales
Hi, My wife is severely disabled and spends the majority of her time reading, as we are in receipt of pension credit we resell these books on eBay to help fund further purchases. These sales exceed £1,000 per annum but there is no element of profit. Should we worry about the new reporting rules? Thanks.
