Shoppix App - Closing Account Due To Being "Oversubscribed In Your Area"?

I have been with Shoppix for years - today I got an alert telling me about "Important Information".
Apparently my account is to be closed as they are 'oversubscribed in my area'. If I'm a veteran member, why would they suddenly let me go?

Has this happened to anyone else? Are there any good alternatives? To be fair, Shoppix does take forever to get to the £20 Amazon voucher but I didn't mind.
NB: Before anyone rude chimes in, I'm aware a company can run things any way they choose..just mildly curious to know if this had happened to anyone else.
Update: Whilst typing this out, I see this has happened to a few people today, via Trustpilot: Shoppix Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of shoppixapp.com (trustpilot.com)

Yes, had an email earlier today, then saw this message when I opened the app just now.A friend also had their account closed in July last year, but the reason given to them was that they no-longer matched the profile of app users they wanted because they wanted to make sure it was representative of the UK population or somesuch nonsense.I'm surprised it lasted as long as it has to be honest; it seemed too generous. I used to wait until I had 6000 tokens, then cash out £10 to PayPal, so each receipt was effectively worth 5p to me.0

Same for me but had an offer to sign up to Consumer Pulse the day before from Shoppix, it's sad to see it go.0

My workmate has just had this email tonight, I have not had one yet.0

I'm still able to send my receipts and haven't had this message so it certainly hasn't hit all Shoppix users. To be fair to Shoppix it is good of them to round up your points to the next voucher. When ZipZero (a similar app) went bad they just stopped paying out completely and I never the got the voucher they owed me!0

Sad to hear some users had this happen. I’m a Shoppix user of 4 years, and get about £50 Amazon vouchers per year. I also find it handy as a digital receipt storage0

Zipzero nearly went bust so didn't have the money to pay out. They did eventually start paying out the old accrued benefits, but due to them shifting the goalposts so much, I didn't start to get mine for about 3 months after I should've done (was entirely their fault). And during the interim period when it was more or less an online referral thing, they basically told lies about releasing old funds.
