The card thing is bugging me now. cant for the life of me remember what theywere called.
They were like little cardboard discs. on one side it said something like "you caught my eye, if you're single and fancy a date?"
and on the other side it had your first name and your mobile number.
maybe i dreamt them and should make them and make my millions......lolLast bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -
cantcope - I've heard of them too. Think it was on the forums of makefriendsonline but can't remember if it was a link or something someone suggested.
I'd never be able to hand one to someone! Takes me all my time to email lolOD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090 -
But thats the beauty of it. if its someone you've never met before what have you got to lose. hand it to them, then walk out.
i think they were for if you saw someone on the train/in the supermarket that you liked.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -

Do I return her money for an easy life - ????

wb - if she says she didn't recieve it I think you should return the money, not much else you can do really. Put a claim through the Royal Mail for the cost of the item though.
Hi to everyone! I'm avoiding work at the moment but can't put it off much longer. Really looking forward to the weekend.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090 -
Wannubs - you have no choice if she's making a claim through paypal. They will just take the money and ask questions later. Tell her you will be making a claim through royal mail and that they will require her name/address as they may make enquiries ( i think this is right anyway).
That might be enough for her to suddenly have it delivered. But you have to give her the benefit of the doubt. I've had things go missing lots!
I also had something that never turned up that i bought, seller refunded me, claimed off royal mail and then 8 weeks later it turned up!!!
Going for a bath at the flat tonight. Be my last one for a while as folks only have a shower. Have to give the flat keys back tomorrow. Gonna soak til i'm all pruned up hahaLast bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -
Hi all, couldnt be without a bath cc it would drive me nuts.
Deleted my profile from the dating site couldnt go through that again.
Work pants:eek: someone tried to stich me up because I gave her a bollocking, I have now got to bollock her again:eek: people in glass houses springs to mind. Have to be careful else she will try and accuse me of victimisation.
Line manager is off sick AGAIN so doing her job and my own!!
Those cards sound like a good idea for those with the balls to use them.
Guy I met Sunday has asked if I want to go out at the weekend, making out my broadband is playing up (touching wood as I type it).

wb- I'd try ccs suggestion of asking for the name and address, I did this with an item that supposedly 'hadn't' been rec'd and when I asked for this and said I would be contacting Royal Mail it arrived the next day
you never know!
Hope everyone else is well today? from the sound of everyones posts today ppl are looking forward to the weekend as much as me! glad i'm not the only one who is looking forward to 5pm tomorrow lol!
cc- enjoy the last bath, I fondly remember the last time I had a bath and not just a shower in a place I was living... I stayed in so long all the water nearly evaporated

Well... the bath was great
lots of lovely bubbles and could barely move coz the water was sloshing over the edges..... luckily even thought the heating has been off since the weekend the flat wasnt particularly cold when i got out. Although i could see the steam coming off me haha.
Flat is completely empty now and i'll be handing back the keys tomorrow. I have to check whether i can get away with not filling the holes from where my dad tookthe blind down. Other than that i should get my bond back as soon as all my final bills are in.
Off to bed now. Am settling in at mummy and daddys quite nicely.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0
