So how is everyone??
I cannot believe how long this thread has been going! but I know I have been rubbish just lately... reports and other teaching stuff - boo.
Has anyone done anything exciting... any good news? Same old same old here I am afraid. Still with a husband who makes me extrememly miserable because I am too afraid of being alone - (yep still see Bridget Jones and Dogs image)
Pathetic eh. Anyway the sun is finally shining and it is a new day.

Hi all.

Been a hectic few weeks for me. Folks went away so i was left to sort out all the stuff for the house move whihc has been a nightmare!!!! Date has been put back to next friday now so i've also had to cancel/reschedule everything.

Folks got back on sunday evening and mum was rushed straight to hospital from the tarmac. She's had viral gastrointeritus yuk yuk. she got home last night.

Brother turned up while they were away with his bags and hasnt moved from the sofa playing games on his laptop since.
I'm tempted to disconnect the broadband seeing as i pay for it. He might actually get a job then! or leave! i think that would be better lol

My friend had her twins last thursday and i am hoping to see them this weekend. Gonna take up the rug that i finally finished (will post piccies later)

Other than that things are fine haha. i have an interview for a new job on Monday so hopefully that will all go well and i can get out of this hole.

Hope everyone is well. I'm basking in my debt going down.

Hurrah!!!! I got the job!!!!!

I start on the 9th July. it's a much better company than the one i work for now and has loads of benefits and much more progression opportunities. I'll have a team of 8 to look after and i cant wait!

Moving day tomorrow so this really is a brand new start. Debt is low, new house, new job. All i need now is a new man.

Finally getting over `it`, still single, still doing the same job and living in the same house. Feeling a lot more positive about life than this time last year.

Is it realy that time already - good god!
Well I am still with the man and mostly unhappy with the situation.
Still teaching - love it !but it really is a zapper of time, energy and life at times
As for friends I have started to get in touch and mail some old friends and we are hoping to meet soon.
I have also 'met' some great people on this thread so I think it has been worth it.

Thanks everyone.

Since last year.... I've paid off half my debt, moved 3 times!, still single, have a new job and a holiday to spain to look forward to in the next month and have made approx 5 new friends....and lots more to come at new company

Enjoy the sunshine wannabe? it's peeing down here and i have to move TODAY.... removals are gonna be here at 9.30 so best log off lol.

Back from my holiday. Was lovely to just relax for a week. it's my last week at this job and i am so excited to be leaving tomorrow.

My best friend from GA died on monday after a very bad 4 weeks where everything in his body seemed to shut down i spent the day with him at whitechapel hospital on saturday which i am so glad of as he slipped unconcious on sunday and never woke up again.
I am waiting to find out when the funeral is and my new company are allowing me to have time off in my first week.

Where is everybody? Out with new friends i hope x
