i am shattered. Too many weddings and this silly bug which won't go. However the weather is fab and the trees are just getting the spring leaves. Went for a lovey ride yeaterday. Nick considered not going home as there were killer birds in the hedge.

Just trying to get back in to the routine i had before - i feel strange as i have not been doing my usual things on a dailybasis - which when i go back to my routine i will be even more strange as i am getting used to resting.

Lost about 6lbs in the past 2 weeks so its not been that bad lol

ill defo be dropping by here again v soon lol

Hi all :j Very long time since I posted, but have been lurking a little.

Since the move I've just been so busy, living with Mum has been odd as her annexe seems to have had permanent builders in so she has been sitting here with me most evenings but all finished now so we finally have our independance.

No great advances on the freindship thing. I find I simply have no social skills, the thought of going into a room full of strangers just terrifies me, even when its people I know it terrifies me. I was in a marching band for many years and its re-union year and we are forming a re-union band. I go along to band practice and I just feel like an outsider - yet these are people I grew up with, snogged a few of them (mostly the blokes!) etc. I still feel like I'm not part of things and just sort of lurk on the sidelines. Same happens whenever there is a party for one of DS's friends, I just don't feel like I fit in with any of the mothers.

On the positive side I do go out sometimes, usually on my own and I have plans to see a concert in the summer and also I have tickets booked for the Grease Sing-A-Long which I am really looking forward to. Mind you I booked 2 tickets and I have no idea who I can get to go with me - both the friends I would have invited live in other countries now!

Glad to see people are doing better, seems like we are getting on with our lives. Nearly a year now since I kicked hubby out and we are at the not talking at all stage now (he hasn't seen DS since xmas day but thats another story).

Will try and get posting more regularly again - I missed you guys!

Hello, sorry to hear about gracie-big hugs for you....i had to have one of my cats put down last year- a week before my wedding....broke my heart.

but on a lighter note (will keep my head up high) i met up with an old school friend a short while ago, after not seeing her for about 3/4 years...well she asked if i wanted to meet up again monday and she invited another friend who i also hadnt seen in ages! so things are looking up, they both want to see me again!

Messy - sorry about your dog not nice when they have to go i'm sure you'll miss her like crazy aswell - but just remember, that it was for the best, shes not in pain, and she will be getting looked after really well xx

I'm feeling alot better this week! Steroids i'm on are working a treat - make breathing so much better, and with inhailers, i seem to be in control of my asthma - except when i move to fast, then it comes back again lol
