Hope everyone has a fab weekend. I am going to go for a walk to our local town centre tomorrow. No doubt will see some people i have seen for 16 years since i left school....future friends maybe?

off to cardiff this weekend, meeting up with a couple of friends from home... as we are scattered around we tend to have a weekend at one of our homes every so often. Not sure what has been planned but might take the 'smiling at strangers' thing with me to wales for the weekend

Yay!! Friday!!!

I've got a quiet weekend planned (well, I didn't plan it, that's just how it is!) although I may go in to town with a friend on Sunday. Trying to save money but also desperate for some new work clothes.

cc - do you have a page on https://www.bebo.com? You can sign up to your school and see who is still around. Maybe post a hi to old friends, might end up meeting up with some.

I think I can beat the Jan blues and Feb blues....am stuck in the all round winter blues :-)

no good news from anyone then? does anyone have any snow anywhere? (the only thing that makes the winter blues bearable!)

I tried the smiling at strangers over the weekend and actually struck up a conversation with a nice scottish chap on the train. So I guess it does work??

There was snow here overnight but the sun is shining and it's all melted. Yay! I don't mind snow but not when it means I can't get out of my carpark and I have to walk to work!

Chatting up a nice Scotsman sounds like my idea of fun - guess I should smile at strangers too!
