I’ve been reading this thread for a while and I feel I now need to get this off my chest and this seems a good place to start. I split up with my BF a few weeks ago and I’m devastated. I feel worse now then I did a few weeks ago, because he said he still cares that I’m ok but I have not heard from him at all.
I have a few friends that I’ve been able to talk to and they’ve been great, but I feel like I’m imposing myself on them and that I should just pull myself together and get on with things, but I’m finding it v difficult to get motivated. What I really need is a hug from someone and told that it is going to be ok.
I’ve thought about joining clubs and evening classes, but it really scares me. It sounds so easy saying I’m going to do this and that but to actually join something scares the life out of me. Like other people have said in previous posts, I find it quite difficult to meet and talk to people. Does anyone have any advice on what to do, where to start?

I wouldn't rush to join anything at the moment dogwalker. Take some time to grieve for your relationship. stay in bed, cry and mope.... then when you feel a bit better then think about getting out there. xxx
