Hi everyone
I did have a chuckle at Martins piccie - it cheered me up.
Well I received a card this morning, it was on my desk.
It was folded the wrong way around and inside it said
To the beast techer in the wold
from ?
Not sure whether that is a compliment or not but it did make me smile non the less.
Hope everyone is ok ish. It is only a day, why does it mean so much? I would love to get a card flowers etc (not very money saving I know but hey ho) I would have thought I would have grown out of that!
Anyway a nice bottle of red is waiting at home for me - Good old bargain at Tesco.
Love to all

your right I do feel like I'm grieving, it feels like he has died as I can't see him or talk to him. I so want to, esp today, but I know that I won't be able to take the rejection.
Thanks for the hugs!
Just emailed a friend to see if she wants to meet up for a drink after work tomorrow, so looking forward to that.

Dogwalker - I agree with everyone else too. It takes time to get over these things. Whether it was your choice or his. It took me a good year after I split from my DSs father for me to even consider dating again. I had a lot of self asteme building to be done first.
Online mates can be great. I have a few people I talk to that I have never met and a few I have met. When me and the OH went through a bit of a rough patch recently, they allowed me to vent my anger and were there to give some good advice. helped me loads, especially with sorting things in my head.
Kyle - a fellow NEEPSTER - Whoo Hoo. Nice to meet you here too. Would never have recognised you when you use a different Username.
Sammz - Have you joined Neeps yet?
Well Valentines didn't go anything like planned. Rangers got beat in the Footie, so OH was in a bad mood. OH didn't put the bins out so I was in a bad mood. Did make him cupcakes and a card, so was moneysaving and creative. So ended up having a bath on my own with a bottle of bubbly and a good book, as OH was sound asleep.
I'm not worried though, as I was really enjoying my book and was glad OH was getting some sleep. He's suffering from insomnia atm.
CG and Rose07 - not been on MSN recently as my laptop has had to go away to be repaired. It's now been about three weeks without it. Been using DS PC, but only during the day for work, as he expects it back in the evening."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Just had word on the laptop. It's BER (Beyond Economical Repair). HP have said that I must have split something on it. I haven't and I'm fairly sure no-one else has either. Oh well thay are going to recover my files and I'm hoping my boss will order a new one for me.
Other than that OH and I are not talking, I'm not sure why, apparently I'm being too critical off him and always expecting him to change. He was talking about leaving, as it's just not working. I'm devastated and just hoping that this will sort itself out and he said it all in the heat of the moment. What a crap way to start the week.
Anyway I think the next person to post should have something upbeat and happy to say."A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0
