Edinburghlass wrote:Yes, sorry I should have made a better post. If you sign up for someone as your CPS all calls with go through them ie Just Dial, then if you sign up for 1899/18866/18185 you then dial the appropriate number before the full number of the person you want to dial and the call will be billed by them.
If you want to revert to BT you dial 1280.
I am verging on signing up to Just Dial Saver for my calls and using Call1899 as my Overrider Provider. BUT, I have BT Internet. You mentioned 1280... Can I just insert 1280 in front of the number that is dialled when I log on to the Internet? I currently use the BTYahoo Surftime 24/7. I don't want that to be effected just because I want to get cheaper phone calls. Thanks for any input.0 -
1280 access will allow you to call whatever number you so desire. It just means it will appear on your BT bill instead of your other suppliers. You just dial 1280 and then the full number you want to call.PF.0

Primus Saver
I may be wrong but my interpretation of the small print is that all calls cost a minimum of 4p connection charge. Look at Saver Rates before you sign up.0 -
The 4p will be for any calls outwith the times set by the package you sign up for. So if you have free evening calls all calls made through the day will be liable for a 4p minimum charge.

Hi
Trying to compare both Just Dial and Primus.
Are both the evening times for Just Dial and Primus from 6pm? Cant seem to see what time the free calls from Just Dial start from.
Also, we sometimes use one of them calling cards to dial internationally (India 7p/min) by dialling an 0871 number - if we sign up do we have to enter another code to dial through BT and then the 0871 number etc. Could get a bit confusing...
ope this makes sense.

Look at this for their peak and off peak timing:
http://www.just-dial.com/pages/plans_saver.asp
and you'd need to dial 1280 before your number to cancel the CPS and routwe your call through BT although I don't think they charge very differently for access numbers starting with 08..... Hope this helps.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -
One of the problems with JDS apart from the bad Customer service being reported by members,is that they want reply to questions asking what their ngn rates are.PF.0
