I can't find anything on the Primus/Planet website, after following Matin's link, about these "free" evenings and weekend calls. All they seem to be offering is some prepay system.

Help!!Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
It must be something to do with getting old but I thought Martin's article stated that 1899 would be 3p a Call in the daytime.
I have "signed up" and made my first call using 1899 this afternoon and the tariff message at the beginning of that call said the cost was 0 pence. Was I imagining it do you think?0 -

The calls are 0p/minute (to UK 01/02 numbers) but there is a 3p connection charge (hence the "3p per call" statement).Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").

The 3p is a connection charge applied to each call no matter the duration.

Yes - I now know that I am losing ALL my faculties!!!
I read Martin's article again and as you all have told me, It is 3p for the connection and 0 pence for the call.
I'll try to get to bed a little earlier tonight, once I have had my warm milk!0 -
Hey, thanks, I wondered about that. 0870#s are a ubiquitous rip-off, irritates the hell out of me.0

Now, does anyone know what Primus customer services are like?
I'm tempted to sign up to their option 2. Reluctant to use Just Dial equivalent because they are now part of Onetel and possibly their customer services are at a similar poor standard!0
