I have not seen this mentioned in this thread so far. Users of Tallk Talk will need to consider the loss of 24/7 free calls to other TT Users before moving to other providers. This I believe is a unique offer from TT. In our case the loss of free daytime calls would be outweighed by the gain of free evening calls from Just Dial.

It is not unique other suppliers do offer free calls 24/7 to other customers on the same network.Having said that if all the all/most of the people you phone are on Talk/Talk its very true, its not worth moving.PF.0 -
Hi. Not sure if this is the right place for this. I've just repeatedly tried registering with both Call1899 & Call18866 but to no avail. I get into the home page, select 'register' & that's it. The message saying that an error has occured appears & everything closes down. Has anyone else had a similair problem accessing these sites or is it just lucky ole me? Also, if any one has any suggestion on how I could maybe get around this I would be very grateful. Cheers.0

There may have been a problem earlier I dont know, however when you click on register a pop up window should appear .Do you allow pop up ?
If you use AOL I remember hearing some people had problems getting an emal
invoice from AOL .I think it was because aol thought it was spam .
If you do use AOL I think you will need to set up a hotmail address for this .0 -

Could you name any please?
The only one I know of who got close was Sainsburys who allowed 24/7 free calls to just one nominated number. They now seem to have changed there branding and refer to it as "Talk Talk at Sainsburys". Previously they did not identify their supplier but it was Talk Talk. Unfortunately the link to this service is not available on their site just now so I can't check the current terms.http://www.sainsburystelecom.co.uk/commerce/servlet/gben-server-PageServer?ARTICLE=MAIN.UK.INTERNET.PORTAL.SAINSBURYS.TELECOMS&LAYOUT=FALSE

ginger_nuts wrote:I agree 24/7 calls are good but rather than leave Talk Talk get a new deal .If you are lucky another year of free evening & weekend calls ,thats what I got .
I will certainly try to do that as trying to get all the family to move to a new supplier at the same time would be a real hassle.
I'm not ready to move just yet as I have a few more months of 30 minutes of free calls to mobiles per month as part of my Talk Talk introductory offer. This is worth a few pounds a month.
