According to their website daytime calls are 2p a minute which should make it 60p for a 30 minute call.

Lots of people have been having problems getting them to reply to emails. You'd be better off with Planet Talk - they answer emails promptly.

So who is the cheapest for calls using a NTL line?
Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself. :)

probably either 1899 or various 0844 callthrough numbers, as discussed before

unless you can use a CPS service with included minutes packages

Thanks for that, I'll report the error and see if the Team can check it.

Several threads about JustDial on the boards at the moment

Cheapest provider of 01/02 calls from a short code using Cable is still 1899 at 0.5p a minute 3p connection.(Unless you are on 321 where you can get free calls to local cable customers.5p connection.) Min 0844 call price would be 1p a minute.

Note as Edinburghlass has pointed out below using a Onetel phonepal would probaly be cheaper still at evenings and weekends. This only works for NTL not Telewest.
  • You can use Onetel as a CPS with NTL and they have an offer on at the moment as mentioned here.

However if you use the link in this old post from Martin regarding Onetel MSE gains a small amount which enables Martin to donate to charity and keeps MSE ad free.

Although the post is an old one the link still works through to Onetel.

  • Technical Point. You can only CPS your calls if you are with BT,this is done in the exchange. What onetel do is send you a one destination call router which you plug in to your main socket. This automatically dials the onetel access code for you.If you are making a call without the box they will normally tell you the access code to dial.
