It's about time you accepted that their website has a mistake and no amount of ignoring what your family, the company and anybody here that isn't terminally bored by this, is going to change that unless you deal with the company directly.

I did not write the terms and conditions.

How do you call a Fuerteventura mobile phone for 6p a minute?

There is no such thing as a F... mobile, as your mother told you

Some phones will have to be altered to accept the Spanish networks available in the Canary Islands.
    This means unlocking the phone

    nb Spanish networks

    Andy,
I dont want to get into an argument here, I am just trying to point out that liquid telecom are advertising rates that dont exist, and it has cost me money.
The phone was bought in Fuerteventura, my parents live there, there was no need to unlock the phone. You have just confirmed my whole point, there is NO canary island mobile phone company,(which I only know this now AFTER paying 19p min instead of 6p) they are all spanish mainland companies. Liquid Telecom should not be advertising calls to mobiles there at 6p min.

Previous I have been using 18866, they charge 15p min to the canary islands AND 15p min to mainland spain, they obviously know calling the canaries is the same. I just thought that it was the same cost to both places, now I realise why.

    Minor edit needed there.

15p/minute to Spanish mobiles in The Canaries and 15p.minute to Spanish mobiles in mainland Spain (and, from personal experience, 15p to Spanish mobiles in the Balearic islands).

    The End.

    (please).
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").
  • Hi!!

If you're looking for a good deal on international calls, I strongly recomend https://www.viapin.com , prepaid calling cards. They have Great Rates and good connection. I constantly call south america and have found out that they a have a NO extra charges card for me, yup a 100% clean card, which is great if you consider tha fact that you have the exact amount of minutes that they advertise on their web site. :D

I have just used Telesavers this afternoon to ring Fuerteventura. The "voice" first advised me "1p per minute, then when I was dialing a new message said "2p per minute".
So, I went back to 18866 which I use most of the time.
I notice that neither of the above were show in the MSE callchecker when looking for costs to the Canaries.

Always check the calling company's website first. Call checker shows Telestunt 0p to Japan but it's actually lo-call tariff!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
