Keeno, this argument doesn't make sense. You called a mobile, you say you know it is a mobile, and were charged for calling a mobile. Everything you say confirms it. What is wrong?0

It makes even less sense when, using the CallChecker to find the cheapest way to call a Spanish mobile - which is what Keeno says he/she did - the best on offer is 15p (and that's not 'Liquid Direct' or 'Liquid Account').
In fact, neither does 6p/minute come up as either of Liquid's prices to Spanish landlines (they're 5p and 3p).Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
6p a minute comes up when you enter Canary Islands for mobiles!0
-
And I thought I had made myself clear
"I used the call checker to find out the cheapest calls to a mobile in Fuerteventura "
It says 6p min, I was charged 19p min, the Mobile is in Fuerteventura NOT Spain.
It was bought in Fuerteventura NOT Spain.
The prefix 00 34 928 is an area code for landlines in Fuerteventura NOT a mobile.
I dont really see what you dont understand?0 -

Now I understand your annoyance.Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").

Also, your mother confirmed that there is no such thing as Canary Islands mobileShe also told me that as far as she is aware all mobiles in the canaries are ultimately owned by Spanish Mainland companies, therefore, I cant see how you can possibly call a "Fuerteventura" Mobile phone?
As you say yourself, I dont really see what you dont understand?
I have a certain foreign mobile sim, not bought in its country of origin. The call charges do not depend on which shop it came from, as you seem to believe.0 -

I wonder why Keeno didn't use them?Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'

Andy88,
"You tell us that you asked your mother who confirmed the landkine area code. So what? That is completely irrelevant to the cost of a mobile phone call, which has a different prefix code, as the company says. They said this to differentiate your call from a call to Fueteventura."
The Liquid Telecom rep told me I had to use that prefix code, when I tried, obviously it wouldnt connect because that is a prefix for a LANDLINE, that is why it is relative.
"As I say, you know you were calling a Spanish mobile, as both the company and your family confirm, and have been charged accordingly. The fact that Canary Islands mobile does not exist as a separate entity does not entitle you to pay the landline rate."
I only knew I was calling a Spanish mobile AFTER I had made the call.
If a Canary Island mobile doesn't exist then why are Liquid Telecom advertising there rates to call a MOBILE there at 6p a min?
Shall I keep this simple.
How do I call a mobile in Fuerteventura for 6p a min with Liquid Telecom?
April2, I have tried Ratebuster but it never seems to work.0 -
