I agree with this. I have asked (it'll take a few days) that from now on

Lo-call rates appear as if they're 2p/min (which roughly balances out the different tariffs)
and National rate as if they're 8p/min

That'll teach me to come here and check the International Call Checker thingy before calling my sister in Spain for our weekly half hour natter - I dialled her this morning using the phone's memory and, because she answered so quickly, I didn't hear the tariff message.

If I had done, I would (OK, may) have noticed the cost had doubled - from 1p/minute to 2p/minute.

Oh well, at least 3 dial-through alternatives at 1p/minute still available - but the phone's memory can't cope with that so I'll have to write the numbers down now.

Your Callchecker is not giving the cheapest calls to UAE. It is showing 18p while the cheapest 18866 and 1899 are excluded from the list. Please rectify the Callchecker.

Or you could call UAE Mobiles at peak times for NOTHING from yr mobiles usin' crossnetwork minutes on s-fon'es number 07744 974 363 !

Rats! I missed it. Yesterday the callchecker showed the lowest cost to call Saudi as 2p with Dialwise, but today it's gone up to 3p.
No doubt due to the callchecker, I can't register with 1899 as they have run out of capacity.
Perhaps the Telco's are using the callchecker as well!

Try https://www.skype.com and all skype to skype calls are totally free for as long as you are connected(they cut you off at 2 hours but you can re dial and have another 2 hours).
to any mobile is 2.1p and to any landline is 1.1p worldwide. So the skype info' says. I have called America and it seems to be correct.

None of the call checker numbers priced between 1p and 2p are working, does anyone know why?

Just checked a range of countries and ALL rates are showing, including 0.5, 1 & 2 p/min.

Try yours again!
