:hello: Morning all! Was very pleased with my efforts yesterday, got most of our bedroom decluttered and cleaned (thank goodness no one I know called in Kim and Aggie, they would have Screamed) and the rest of the upstairs sorted and cleaned, the house looks quite nice now (for one day at least  )
Today I'm going to put on a load of towels in a minute, put a seedy loaf in the BM, make some veggie soup out of the odds and sods in the bottom of the veggie drawer and then go out for a brisk walk to the postbox to post on DS's birthday cards ready for his birthday on Monday.
Oh yes, I forgot! Today is our 27th anniversary - no celebrations here though, OH is working all day and tomorrow although he did say we might manage a pub lunch on Sunday - who said romance was dead, eh? :rotfl:
Breakfast: Crumpets and Marmite,mmmmmmm
Lunch: Spanish omelette using leftover new potatoes and feta cheese, can't wait:
Dinner: Salmon fillet, roast veggies and butternut squash (well I have to treat myself since I'll be on my own, don't I?)
Have a good day everyone! FF xxx0 -

Hello everyone,
I'm not used to posting at this time of day, so its quite a novelty! yay for 4 day weekends! Day started with a trip to the dentist, which thankfully went well, so don't have to go back for another 6 months. I hate sitting in the waiting room though - the noises from the treatment rooms literally set my teeth on edgeI did get some 'varnish' put on one of my teeth (makes me feel like a bit of furniture
) so it feels strange when I bite anything just now but I'm sure it'll wear down soon.
I got my weekly shopping done this morning, and picked up some great bargains at asda, including - wait for it - my first ever bottle of stardrops! So after I've had a little browse around here and get something to eat, I'll be trying it out this afternoon. I'm so chuffed with myself you wouldn't believe it - never usually this excited about cleaning the house! You lot must be a good influence on me
I forgot high school musical was on disney tonight...guess I know what I'll be watching this evening...its not only for kids
*hugs* to all, take or leave as you please :j0 -
No snowyowl or Jo138 today
Hope they are ok?
Need to shift myself but my back is still in agony and down my left leg, I know it will get better if I move about a bit so I might go and sort some washing and put the BM on:o0 -

Morning all
You can tell it's a nice day here - someone has a bonfire going!! I have a line full of towels and bedding too
So far today I've managed to take boys to school, put on WM again, DW, BM and was going to make a fish pie for tonight, but I bought some Chorizo the other day and may do something with it (don't know what cos never had it before and don't like olives so yesterdays idea is out) May yet do the fish pie ......
Have done the first of 2 in-depth phone mystery shopping jobs. Will do the other one shortly. Need to make the beds and run the vac round, before meeting a friend for coffee and check out some suitable places for marketing my new business.
For those who joined in on the pollock debate the other dayLidl have their frozen fillets on special ATM. £2.29 for 950gm bag (11-14 fillets) down from £2.99. Their Pollock fish fingers are also reduced. It's a great staple for bunging in the corner of the freezer, especially at that price.
Ageandjo - this isn't medical advice, but have you considered Bowen Therapy? I have a permanent back/neck injury from an incident at work many years ago and tendancy now to sciatica (pregnancy related) I have had about 8 treatments and can honestly say it's fab. Never tried anything like it. It's also sorted out my bad knee, clicking jaw and sinus trouble (blimey - I sound like an old wreck :rotfl:) Pm me if you want some more info, hun.
Ok, time and mystery shopping waits for no one((hugs)) to everyone cos I'm feeling happy.

Morning All
Had lazy start here this morning so must get a move on this afternoon.
Its my worst sort of weather here today - warm and muggy and raining so not much on the washing front.
Just about to have some covent garden carrot and corriander soup for lunch (was reduced at tesco express) then will finish the housework and do the ironing in front of the telly.
Didnt know anything about this High School Musical so think will look it up and tape it for DD & myself to watch sometime over the weekend.
Am out with my friends I used to work with tonight - we catch up every 6 weeks or so so that will be nice, oh and kids are having pie and mash.
Hope you all have a great day0
