    Hello everybody,

I've just come in laden with mulberries. Off to stalk them and put them in the freezer for later. Awful tedious job so will do it watching the telly. I can see it from the dining room table.

I haven't tried rabbit before, but I'll take your word for it. :p Fella's have gone home now so plans for tea tonight are a lot easier. DD & GF are both going out for a meal so will have something easy. Well of do de-stalk. Have a lovely Friday all & ((((((hugs))))) to those who need them. Byeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • Good Morning
Hope everyone survived those winds yesterday, although it was a good day for washing :)
Today I start my new job, bit nervous, 2 days a week 4 hours a day.
Attempted to rid the nervous energy with a demonic splurge of dysoning already, much to the childrens disgust but at least they are up and fed !

Oven needs cleaning again the bicarb and vinegar does the trick for me.
Plus the mountain of ironing that got literaaly spun dry in wind yesterday.
Biscuit tin empty too so a busy one for me.

    Morning all :hello:

Son left for work at 7am, I've just woken miss troo, will wake mr troo in a minute. We have 3 alarm clocks in the house, everyone except me turns them off and goes back to sleep

I'm really tired, dunno why  I'm in bed before 11pm every night, ride my bike to work and to the local shops, eat heathily (I do like my choc though lol) but I seem be to more tired each day. Nothing wrong with me health-wise - I've been to the doc. Probably just the weather or something silly like that

So I've given myself the afternoon off :D I'll pop into work for a couple of hours and put the washing out when I get home. That's all I'm doing :D

It's FRIDAY :T :T :T Can't wait to get work finished today so I can have an entire weekend at home - my goodness it's been neglected this week :o I have a new bottle of stardrops ready for action - and at the mo I feel motivated to clean my house from top to bottom :D We'll see what happens tomorrow

Must remember to post my ebay parcel

    B: Cereal
    L: Sandwiches
    D: Beef Stew & Dumplings

    (((((hugs)))) to all
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
  • I'm having trouble motivating myself this morning. I'm also feeling really tired. Probably having something to do with the fact that i was lesson planning last night. I wasn't expecting to be doing that again until next September, but hey ho, i won't have anyone telling me i don't pull my weight (even if it is harder for me to do at the moment.) :rotfl:

We had a naughty takeaway curry last night as with all the rushing around, i forgot to get anything out for tea. Me and DH were having to ferret around for pennies as we haven't been going to the ATM on purpose. So, made sure i got out some sausages for this evening from the freezer. ;)

Plan for today - survive standing on my feet. I had lovely cankles last night. Then make an action plan for the weekend to try and have another big push on getting ready for pud. It will probably involve ironing clothes i washed for him last weekend to put in my hospital bag, and making sure i have most of what i need doing sorted for work, as i will be wanting to hand over on a clean slate. Probably a clean of the kitchen and bathroom again. I'm not quite swishing and swiping, but it sure looks good if i do it more regularly. :o

Best go and finish getting ready. I need to change my top as i had a breakfast accident, a common occurence nowadays, and set off as i am sure there has been a nearby accident this morning, as i heard 2 lots of sirens. It is raining here, and i will guiltily be leaving the cats out as they have disappeared.

Play nice today everyone. ;) I'll be looking forward to catching up with a cuppa after work.

    Morning all.

I do miss rabbit casserole, I used to have a neighbour that went shooting and brought me rabbits all the time. None of that since we moved to this house :(

Mum rang me yesterday to say she had bought me a brand spanking new yoghurt maker :D I had asked her to keep an eye out at any bootsales she went to but she decided to treat me instead. I can't wait to get down there and get it :)

Racy you will never regret getting the combination microwave, mine is lovely and I'm so glad I got it although I still haven't worked out all it's uses yet. So todays tasks are work out how to use my microwave most efficiently and play with my yoghurt maker when I get home from taking the parents shopping.

    Morning all,
WM is on but we have several loads to add yet. Yet another viewing tomorrow and a visit from my lovely in laws sunday so need to have a good clean. DS2 very good with a fluffy duster, and DS1 has learnt to use 'proper' furniture polish this week. They enjoy it so I don't think I am being too mean!
Off to the butchers in a bit, rib of beef for Sunday, and need cream for a roulade and a white chocolate cheesecake.
Our butcher has rabbits but never thought of trying it even though I like most game, will get some today if they have any. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Morning All

((Hugs)) to those who need them.

DD is still asleep so I've got 10 minutes to myself. Hope nobody minds but
I've got a OS story about rabbits that all this talk of stew has reminded me off.

When my grandfather was a child they had very little money so one of his chores was to keep rabbits in the back yard for the pot. He felt sorry for them being kept in cages so he let them out. Unfortunately they started to burrow until the whole of the row of terraces back yards where full of rabbit warrens. One day he came home from school to find that the whole warren system had collasped and he had some very angry neighbour with no back yard anymore. :rotfl:

Anyway back to the present. My SIL is coming round later with her LO so DD has got somebody to play with. That means that I need to get on tidy round and give the lounge carpet a quick hoover and swish and swipe the bathroom and kitchen. Fortunately I did my baking yesterday so I've got something to feed them for a snack. That about it for today really having a lazy one as I'm still battling with this ankle and it swells everytime I'm stood up for to long

    Have a good day everyone
