    :T Good afternoon everyone
Well it is my penultimate day at work and I have to say that I have taken advantage and printed off a few recipes that I wanted :j
Tonight I will be cleaning with the microfibre cloths ready for 2 friends from work coming to stay tomorrow night after our 'leaving drinks'. Not sure why but I really don't like having people to stay over at my house, especially when I have had a drink...I worry I will walk to the bathroom naked like I usually would he he
I have some chorizo sausage at home so think I will make this for tea http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/chirizoandolivepasta_71647.shtml I will have to substitute the sunblush toms for a tin, but I'm sure it will be fine!

    Breakfast: one chocolate biscuit :o
Lunch: tuna and cucumber sandwich and a bag of crisps
    Dinner: see above!

The muffins went down really well yesterday there were about 10 left, which were gone by 10am today :T

Hope everyone is having and continues to have a great thursday...its like July here today
  • Afternoon Guys!

    Most of jobs done:D

OH popped into local butchers on way to pick DD up as we needed minced lamb. They only had frozen and cost £2.99 for 1lb-but he bought it:eek:    .....i called the butchers to ask its origin as OH forgot to ask and the guy didnt know....im really annoyed. Luckily it has made 2 shepards pies after being padded out with baked beans, but I am truly appauled! I pay £1.46 from Asda for 500g bag of minced lamb and that does 2 meals. OH also bought 5 carrots from next door greengrocers and these cost 98p and werent organic or local grown.....no wonder we go to blimin supermarkets:mad: The carrots will do 2 meals as we are having cauliflower with it but unfortunately have run out of the veg we bought half price at Lidls last week:rolleyes:

    Hope everyone is well.

    Me again,

I rarely post this much on the daily. Called home to ask DH how beef casserole looks in SC and he said it looks "rancid"!!!! Says he isn't eating it.

Left over casserole for me for the next few days then!! :D

Got chicken drumsticks out for kids packed lunches so may be doing those for dinner, hey ho.

I think casseroles can look like that in a SC but a good stir usually sorts it out :)

I've been wearing my pink linen trousers today, in honour of PAD :D
Been working from home today & got taken out for lunch by a supplier, which was nice. She used to work for us years ago, so it was nice to have a catch up & a bit of a goss.
The vegetable & goats cheese risotto got veto-ed last night in favour of....ahem...takeaway curry... (OH has got man flu & declared the only thing he would be able to taste was a garlic chilli chicken massala). I agreed on the theory that the garlic overdose would do him good.
Currently got my silver earrings soaking in a bicarb/vinegar solution cos they're ever so tarnished. I've just started using a cheap Tesco's own hairspray, so could it be that d'ya think?
Happy Birthday to Pavlov's dog & hugs to those feeling under the weather. Everything is crossed for Richard Hammond, what a lovely bloke. He went to my school, isn't it funny how the geeky teenagers always turn into hot love gods that everyone fancies?

    Good afternoon everyone,

Not done much today, apart from clean the bathroom and toilet and do some washing (lovely drying weather), and im here on my own at the moment, all the little ones have gone, and DS and DD have gone to dinner with their dad, as it was DSs birthday yesterday, and he wants to give him his present(s?). Not happy with him at all as he finally managed to ring his son yesterday at 7.30pm to say happy birthday, then put the phone down and didnt speak to DD, meaning she was really upset. Sorry about the moan, but they are lovely children and dont deserve a dad like him, and its time like now when im sat on my own when i get really fed up with it!!!!
Well, rant over, off to do some dishes and think about what i can have for my dinner, think im going to have a root around in the freezer and see what i can use up!!!!
    Have a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
