Hi Queenie,
I am so sorry that you seem to have read my post as a personal attack on you. That really wasn’t my intention. I don’t want to debate this with you on the boards, but I do feel that I need to respond to your post.Queenie wrote:I am more appalled that the person who turned to me has subsequently negated responsibility over the whole issues and publicly attaches any blame for any upset at my door!
I pm’d you out of respect as you were the OP of the daily thread and therefore I was interested in your opinion on how it had evolved. I sent my pm to you saying that I was going to refer it to Andrea and the team at 7.42 pm, so I don’t understand why you didn’t receive it before starting the thread at 8.15pm.
I honestly didn’t realise that you had started the thread to support me. It is not how I would have done it, but then we are all different. I really appreciate your intentions and I thank you for the support.
Now, on to my impartiality and consistency/inconsistency as a board guide………..
I do try to be impartial and most of the time I think I manage it.
Yes, I hold my hands up to joining in with a bit of light hearted banter on the daily thread last night. In view of recent goings on, and my position as board guide, that was probably a bad mistake on my part. However, as yet no guidelines have been laid down, so no one was breaking any rules.
On the other hand you are quite right, a number of members have had “moral courage to come out and publicly express their dissatisfaction” and like you, I admire and respect them for that.
As board guide I should not have taken part in the daily thread last night. I apologise unreservedly, for my actions to those who have been brave enough to post that they are unhappy with chatty posts and early starts.
Please believe me that two frivolous posts at the end of a horrible day don’t mean that I am not giving due respect to everyone’s views, and I assure you that nobody’s views are being “ignored and disregarded” .
Hopefully this whole thing will be resolved sooner rather than later. To anyone who was upset by me posting on the daily thread last night or feel I am impartial or inconsistent, I am very sorry and please accept my apologies.
To all who posted re 'Pad'………thank you so much for your kindness, but right now, I really don’t feel that I deserve it.

Morning everyone, cant believe I've actually
baked 2 banana cakes
got the slow cooker on the go with a mixed bean chilli
kids to school
2 lots of washing on the line
and all before 10am. Have been on various websites since then though lol
Better get back to planning what I need for Christmas presents etc, DS will be 9 a few days after we get back from Florida in November and wants an mp3 player. Couldnt believe it £20 and we're sorted lol
Hope everyone has a good day, get your washing on the line cos a hurricane is coming!!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Well Pink your wrong. YOU do deserve it.
From just reading that post, it's definatly P.A.D. & don't you forget it. We all didn't wear pink for nothing you know.Although pink does look quite fetching on me I must admit.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
(((Hugs))) Pink Course you do!Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I've never posted on here before but I do lurk sometimes to pick up tips and get motivated so have read the problems of the last few days. I just wanted to say how much happier I feel that today's thread has got back to "normal" again and made me laugh so much today rather than reading with a heavy heart like I have the last couple days. Thank you! :A0
