  • Aussie Lass, P.A.D, brilliant idea!! You're such a very thoughtful person, an example to us all:rotfl: ( no seriously, if I can just tweak your tastebuds a tiny bit, you'll be perfect!! )

I'm wearing a pink t-shirt today, the weather in london is lovely. Could put some pink stripey socks on but they won't let me get my feet into my flip-flops:confused: .

Racy, that's a brilliant picture for Pink and Gingham. You too are a clever girl!!

To OS matters. About to put a washload out on the line and another in the WM. Am going to have salmon tonight in honour of PAD. Lovely with new potatoes and steamed veggies. Also going to clean this house thoroughly, so not much time on here. Going to make coffee, have until 9.30 on here, then *gulp* I'm switching the laptop OFF. ( It won't know what's happened to it, I never turn it off!!)

29_5_5.gif Happy Birthday Pavlovs Dog!!!! Sorry the cake is small, still with the number you'll get that's probably best! Don't want to make you fat!!

Hope everyone has good days, thoughts with you the bride.xx

    Morning everyone

I have a pink dressing gown on (been up a few hours but working from home so not bothered with the getting dressed bit yet!!) and later I will wear my new pink wrangler boots and a pink t shirt with my jeans in honour of our boss:D

Been working away this week again so got back late last night and had a read through all the shinnanigans from the last few days - there was one point when I felt I would have to stop posting myself in case I broke the rules which I often do:rotfl: I do however stand by the fact that I own a slow cooker therefore I can sneak past on a loop hole:D

Anyway great to see people being nice to each other again (I do hope tootles comes back soon I will really miss her) and hope we can all kiss and make up over the next few days - sometimes its good to have a big airing of views as long as we keep the respect.

So my day will be mostly bits of admin for work and if the weather continues in the vein it is now I will be washing everything that stands still for more than a few seconds and get it all outside. Course if its really nice I will have to sit outside myself and monitor the progress of the washing:D

Have a lovely birthday pavlovs dog:j

Bride - lots of hugs and be nice to yourself today

Hi and hugs to everyone else:A

Hope you do get to do a bit of washing-drying monitoring!!!:D :D

  • Morning all! Last night was pretty successful and I treated myself to a long hot bath with some Lush bubble bar!! :D Hoovered, tidied, dusted, did four loads of washing. Bread maker going on tonight when I get in from work. Haven't decided what's for dinner yet, got to go to other job at 7pm so will be something quick. maybe oven baked feta with tomatoes, oil, garlic and herbs with some brown pasta. Spoke to my brother last night and he has to go back to court on 2nd October and chances are very high that he will be given a prison sentence :(:(:( oh well  have a good day all (((hugs))) to all xx

Think I am a manic depressive. Was reading a website & the symptoms are scarily similar to me.

    Anyway, onwards & upwards.

Only need mushrooms today. Got my Tesco order yesterday with enough food to last me the month (and beyond!)

I am determined to pay of my overdrafts (yes, plural) this month so am living VERY FRUGALLY.

Decorator here for last day today so I can get house back into order. Had panic attacks cos of the state it is in :(

    Hope everyone is well

    love Lisa x

  • Morning All

Started today very non OS as ordered some clothes from DP's but it is 20% day.

Now am going to get vinegar out & been very os as am cleaning house from top to bottom (hopefully) starting with the shower room (hate cleaning showers!). Just about to put load of washing on line - perfect drying weather - sunny and a bit breezy - and put another load of towells in. Washing tablets are lasting ages now that I only use half the dose & the clothes are just as clean.

Have got lots of hoovering today as cobwebs are all over the house. Upset myself yesterday as read that we are going to have a lot of crane flys and therefore a lot of v happy fat spiders - oh well perhaps if I see more I might get used to them:confused: Aussielass you must think us right wimps with our 'harmless' spiders after your recent visitor but I must state that our spiders still look mean.:rotfl:

Anyway no time to chat must get on have a great day all.

Oh and by the way sausages and mash for tea.

Starclens has ammonia in it so it is great for cleaning, ovens, oven trays and hobs etc.

Tonight's tea will be egg fried rice unless inspiration dictates otherwise lol;)

Need to go see doctor so see you later.

    Morning :D

Lovely and cheery here today has made me smile. Happy PAD to all.

Had cross words with DS this morning and now he's at school I wish he was here so I could hug him. We'd made up before he went, but still ... :(

Anyway, I plan to do some pressie wrapping and wash the floors this a.m. (with stardrops - I've finally run out of Flash!)

Then cookie baking with DD this afternoon.

My thoughts are with you The_Bride xx

    Happy Birthday Pavlovs Dog:bdaycake:

Thriftlady, thanks for the link to the cookies, I want to try them too ;)

Its a lovely bright blustry day here so washing is the order of the day here I think. Also going to make a fish pie with afew odd fish fillets. I'm doing really well at using up the contents of the freezer and should have at least another weeks worth of meals out of it. Also need to make some flapjacks and banana muffins.

Better go as the washing machine is about to go into full spin and when that happens the washing up falls off the draining board.

    Have a good day everyone

PS. Happy PAD I will mark the occasion by wearing my hot pink undies!!
