I know exactly what you mean! My DD1's room is a complete tip! Anything that is put in there is never seen again!
Anyway, morning everyone! :hello:Thread was started extra early today!
Getting my shopping delivered this morning (I spend a lot less if I order online). We're having a nice stew with lots of veg for tea (cooked on the hob - don't need to slow cooker it as Im here all day) Want to cook some muffins using part wholemeal flour if I can find a recipe that includes raspberries (Ive got some that need using up!)
PP - Hope all goes well at the hospital.
The-Bride - Sorry to hear about your little brother. It must be hard when the anniversary comes round. I adore my little brother and worry because he lives in London (2 hours away). He's 35 but still my little brother. Have a good cry if you need one and come on here to share your feelings.
ageandjo - I have some pink on my socks too! :T
Lovely sunny morning here so getting more washing done.0 -
Good morning all.
I was given a brand new slow cooker (unwanted gift) yesterday. How excited am I! I can't wait to try it out, am just waiting for the person who gave it to me to dig out the instructions and recipe book and off I go OSing my meals.
Not able to do much today as pain is annoying me. Went to pain management session yesterday and have been given lots of homework to do! I have high hopes that it will help.
I hope everyone has a lovely day and those who are not feeling too good get better soon.

Hello everyone,
I've been quite upset by threads on here in the past few days - but decided just to post O/S chat, general chit chat and the like and hopefully if I'm doing something wrong - somebody will let me know.
I like the thread today too - fun and chatty.
I am at work today and will be babysitting tonight - not really needed though as have been up really late (past 1am) the past couple of nights. On Tuesday night, we had a party for one of our neighbours who is leaving to move down to England. Last night, I met my mum and other family in South Queensferry for a posh meal (mum paid!) at a beautiful fish restaurant, with an amazing view over the Forth at the two bridges. I had 2 starters (my fave) - seafood bisque and h/m fishcake - yum!
Today I had to be at work for 7.30am to drop off a hire car so am very sleepy! I am having weetabix or a banana for my brekkie, h/m french onion soup and bread (not h/m) for lunch and will grab some pasta in the half hour before babysitting.
I'm planning to take my current knitting project (blue baby mittens) to babysitting along with finished work that needs to be sewn up - why is that the worst bit?!?! I have a white baby jumper with trim that I knitted (knat?!) - its looking a bit grubby from my sweaty hands - should I wash and press it? If so, whats the best way to do this please?
The_Bride - my thoughts are with you.

Morning all! :rotfl:
Hugs to all those who need them, sorry brain not in gear to remember everyone except The_Bride, but love and hugs to you all anyway.
Had a brill day yesterday, after the supermarket shop went over to Bicester Village and met up with my sister, had a very un-OS lunch (but yummy) at Carluccio's, got a few bargains for Christmas pressie and a half-price pizza stone for me, yay, I've been wanting one of those for ages.
Today I've woken up with an eye infectionso am a bit blurry round the edges :rotfl: . Have major plans to muck out the bathroom, and carry on with The Great DeClutter and Clean of our bedroom and also those of the kidlings, who have temporarily decamped and flown to other parts of the UK.
Breakfast: Treat of grilled tomatoes and mushrooms on HM toast
Lunch: HM veg soup and last night's leftover Greek salad in a pitta bread
Dinner: coq au vin, already in SC, with new potatoes and steamed leeks.
Have a good day, everyone! FF xxx0
