  • Hi all,
This is my first post on the daily so I just wanted to say hello. I am planning on having a busy day today. So far all I have done is take my dd to nursery and spend at least an hour writing a list of the jobs I was going to do over the next week  I spent so long doing it I could have done all todays jobs in that hour :rotfl: :rotfl:

This afternoon I am going to sort out my present cupboard and write a list of the pressies I have so far.
Also on my list for today is painting a windowsill, sorting out my paperwork drawer and working out a menu plan for next week!!!!

Good job its my day off!!!!!

I have just had a nice big bowl of HM veg soup and it was yummy. Haven't even thought about tea yet!

Hope everyone has a good day:beer:

Hi Y'all, It's not a nice day here - grey, dull and muggy.

    Done
I've put all my whites (having washed the load 3 times because it contained all the kidz white school tops and they have been making their own chocolates at school this week:eek: ) on ther airer outside but I don't think they will dry much.

House vacced and tidy and the beds/towels changed.

Bathroom grouting soaking in bleach and the taps in limescale prep as I type.

    Paid2clicks done.

    To do
Call in the library on the way to school.

Pick up the local paper as mini MATHLETT is in it for winning a fancy dress comp as Willy Wonka!

Run the three kidz to all their different friday night clubs my taxi is on call from 4pm -9pm:rolleyes:

    Dinner
Kidz- Cheesy toasties (due to all the ferrying around- they will all eat at different times in the car:eek: )

Mrs MATH & me - Whatever she picks up from the chiller on the way home LOL washed down with a couple of bottles of hock (after car duties are over)

    Have a good day

    Morning, morning, morning all!!

Rain here for the first time since beginning of September, well during the day anyway.Got all washing done yesterday thanks to lovely weather so hope it improves over the weekend, will check the forecast later.

Hope all at the Eastbourne meet have a lovely time, perhaps we should do a Berks/Bucks/London/anywhere else near by meet!

Poor DH has an ear infection so he has gone back to bed, I will finish early and do the school run for him, poor thing.

Bacon joint is in the SC, already smells lovely. Beef casserole last night wasn't "rancid" (DH's description), and DS had three helpings bless him. :D

Weekend: DS is having three fillings, he will be consciously sedated and I'm really dreading it. DH will be with me but am really getting my knickers in a twist about the whole thing, will have a day cuddled up on sofa with him on Saturday. On Sunday he has two friends coming to play so will be a day of XBox 360 and Yu Gi Oh (is it just me or does anyone else not understand Yu Gi Oh at all)? Will make a big choc fudge cake for them all.

Breakfast: Hot Choc & 2 krispy kremes. :D
Lunch: Don't know - am craving KFC PP!!!!!
Dinner: Bacon joint, dauphinoise potatoes and broccoli.

Have a lovely weekend one and all!!

    Hugs

    Afternoon everyone,

Last day before 2 weeks of w**k:j . I'm counting down the seconds.

Did nothing after work last night because I developed a migraine as soon as I got home. Luckily DH did the kitchen so it was clean this morning.

One load of towels in WM, one to go (most from DS' room). Must make batch of leek and potato soup to go in freezer and sort out perishables to take up to MIL.

Also have appt for haircut this evening and will have to pack:eek: . At least we haven't got a deadline for tomorrow. Up to MIL on Wirral, then on Sunday to Bangor to take DS all the stuff he had stored at MIL's over the vac. To my parents near Wigan for a visit on Monday and then off to NI on Tuesday until the Sunday.

See you when I get back.
  • hello all

    been to the docs.

She has taken me off prozac & put me on seroxat. She thinks I am having a reaction to the prozac. Apparently in the next 2 weeks I may feel worse before feeling better. So have also be signed off work for 2 weeks.

    Done nothing OS yet today.

    Take care all

  • Afternoon all,
Absolutely pouring down here. hope it clears up by home time as dd has taken her bike to school so we have to walk back. I've got to bring back a friend's 2 kids as well and I'll feel bad if they get wet , don't care about my 2:D

Picked some blackberries and elderberries on the way home from school this morning.
Spent quite a lot of money both in Waitrose and the butcher's (no bunnies today) but have stocked up the freezer with mince, sausages, stewing beef, and chicken. Bought some wine too;)

Was going to let ds1 help make meat and potato pie for supper tonight. Trouble is I've got to take dd to a dance lesson at 4.45 which is going to make it impossible. So I'll get it done this afternoon and let him help tomorrow.I've also got to make some bread today, but the timing of that is proving a problem too. If I do it now we won't be around to bake it, so I'll make the dough when we get back from school and bake it when we get back from dance . I hate after school activities  still at least I haven't descended to MATH'S level and started feeding the kids in the car  shame on you MATH:D :p

    Hi everyone!
Am on my own today so was told yesterday to have a longer lunchbreak and close the centre for an hour...extra time on OS whopee!!!
OS so far has been changing the beds and linen and putting a white wash through...looking at the weather here it'll have to go on the airer today.
A stupendous trip to Tesco awaits me when I get home...hopefully I won't do what I did last week and pull up with my slippers on my feet. Had to go home and change my footwear.:rotfl: :rotfl:
We're trying out Caribbean Chicken in the SC at the weekend. It's got peaches and pineapple in and sounds interesting. Tomorrow's meal however, is going to be one of the bags of takeaway as it's our wedding anniversary.

I think I might have to check out the flylady thread. My house is pretty clean and tidy but I never seem to have the time to get all those extra jobs done..perhaps doing something like that would free up some more time for me. Also plan to sand down the paintwork around the garage and front door in preparation for repainting and then that's all my outdoor DIY jobs completed.

Have a great weekend. Hope to pop in tomorrow when I'm back at work time permitting

I know this is absolutely nothing to do with OS but I just wanted to say I have never been so glad to see my home. I've just driven 9 miles in the most torrential rain I have ever seen and I really thought I was not going to make it home again. If this is the tail end of the hurricane I will be glad to see the back of it, all my shopping is still in the car as I just grabbed my keys and bag and ran for it. I still got soaked in the process and now I smell like a wet dog :(

    Hello everyone,

Well OFSTED came, she stayed for 4 HOURS!!!! She has told me i have a 'satisfactory' rating (im really disappointed) which is the same as last time (although it was called 'good' back then). She said that i was really good with the children, obviously have a good relationship with all of them and played nicely with them and had a good range of toys and activities etc. But im being marked down, one because i forgot to lock the front door after i let her in, two because my attendance register wasnt up to date (my fault, hands up there, id written todays times on a scrap of paper as i had the books ready for her to look at, and last time they only needed to see i was doing them, and not the details as it was confidential) and thirdly because the children were using a potty and baby wipes to wash their hands. I explained that i was having a downstairs toilet built, and she agreed that i shouldnt be letting them go upstairs to use the toilet there, but she had to mark me on today, and even though i will have the downstairs toilet in the next month, it wont count until my next inspection in 3 years!!!!!! So, im not allowed to let them go upstairs, the facilities im providing arnt good enough, but although changes are being made, it wont count!!!! Cant win with that one!!!!
Sorry about the moan, at least its over with for the next 3 years!!!!
Right, now that is over, i can get on and do something, the kitchen is a mess, the bathroom and toilet need cleaning and i havnt had chance to get the pizza dough on, so must move my bum and sort it out!!!!!
Hope all who are feeling down/unwell are feeling better soon xxx

    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
