Doing good here. Picking up my new car tomorrow! Bought it with finance arranged through Creditplus... it's an 8% flat rate, which works out at 19.9% APR over 3 years, and the finance is with Santander. Yes, I know it's not a particularly low interest rate, but hey, I am still sub prime... and the payments over 3 years are well within my budget.

I must say, I found Creditplus to be nothing less than extremely helpful, and they didnt leave huge footprints all over my credit file... just one search by them, and one by Santander a week later. They told me I was approved up to £6k, and when I found the car I wanted, they faxed all the paperwork to the dealer for me to sign after I'd test driven the car and made a decision.

Now, I know there have been horror stories about the likes of Welcome car finance and Yes car loans, so I did go into it warily... but my experience was good.

Note, don't take this as a recommendation for them - because my situation could be the exception, and you might have a different experience with them. I would be interested to know if anyone has had problems with them?

Nope, 2 litre diesel... and the engine is a BMW one.:D
