dolally, hope you don't mind me asking but are you removing defaults that shouldn't be on your file, or for another reason?

    Hi everyone,

Can any of you really helpful guys or gals please tell me if you know, how much 1 late payment (recent) will affect my credit rating. I am a bit cross about it really but I made a payment to Marshall Ward for the first time, by cash at the post office and my payment did not show up on the account. Being the complete Dumbo that I am I did not keep my receipt so can't dispute the non receipt of the payment. So I now have 1 late payment logged on my credit file....any ideas how much that will hinder me for any future credit applications?

Pleased to say I am now up and running with my Vanquis CC (£500 limit) and Aqua CC (£1000) limit so won't need to apply for anything else just yet!

Hi dont know too much but would think that if you have paid and pay on time next month then you should not have too many problems.

Oh dear me this thread is becoming un-popular!
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Never!!! Everyone must be quite busy at the moment...
I know I have at work - hopefully the 'Recession' won't hit as hard.
