When I got my cap1 it was the free alerts and 2 free reports (usually £6.99 each). I didn't have to pay £69.99 upfront. Don't spend the money unless you have to!

Ahh there is a bit of a story with my Cap One card...read the other thread if you are looking for a bit bedtime reading!!!!
Aren't Cap One Experian reports though? I was wanting to look at my Equifax reports for nada if I could:D x

nope will work great staright out of the box i think it,s dabs, you can some time afterwards upgrade the memory to larger size if you wanted to add more.. you get a free case + mouse as well. dunno what the postage is going to be .

Hi,

Am hoping someone can clear this up for me.

I have just applied for the Tesco Credit Card, and got the following message:

If your application is successful we would be delighted to offer you a Tesco Credit Card as Detailed Below.

Clubcard Strawberry
19.9% apr

Your Limit
We are pleased to offer you a credit limit of £400

And then the final screen said "Additional Checks are required before we can progress your application - 10 days blah blah"

Is this going to be another standard no thank-you letter?

The only reason i ask is because it said about a credit limit of £400 - anyone else had this?

I have one satisfied CCJ (Around 3 years old) and a couple of defaults. Also around 3 years old.

Have a Cap one Card £1500 limit (started with £500 about 6 months ago)
Also just got a Vanquis card £250 limit
Have an 02 Iphone Contract
An A&L Account with £100 overdraft.

Anyone else have any other views?
