They didnt..at first, I called up their team and asked for a decision and they said no, I said why and they said information from Experian and I said liar, Liar , pant's on fire cos they did not do a search and they said oh, dear let me look in to that, they called back and said well we have ways of looking at your file without you knowing and I said...:naughty: you have to leave a footprint by law of some sort either recorded or un-recorded search, oh and as I am CIFAS protected why did you not contact me to ask for my password?...oh well sir sorry but here at AMEX we are different to other credit card companies in that we have high standards bl, bla, bla so far up his yuppie @rse, anyway they did a search and then said no again then removed the search and said the reason you have been declined is the fact you have too many searches on your file. No Sh|t sherlock!

I am sorry to hear that you have been unsuccessful with the AMEX charge card application. I thought you had a high chance of being accepted. Maybe you were just unlucky this time? I usually find AMEX CS on the phone to be very helpful. They do have a different method of assessing people's credit files, I remember they did not search my files when I applied although they do report payment history. Apply again in a year time (providing you refrain from applying for any further credit) and you should be able to get most of the cards you want. :D

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
