this is probably a stupid question, but what do the tiers on the monument card mean? when I applied it said Tier B which I know means a slightly lower APR but does it mean a higher credit limit too?

No, your interest rate will be around 26.9% ish, credit limits dont change unfortunatley.

    Well I am baffled...

I have been accepted by Vanquis, already hold a Capital one card which I've held for 9 mths thereabouts. Think I have been accepted for a Citibank uk access current account but have just been refused the Monument card...no thinking about it just an instant NO humph!!!

So I am presuming I am going to get the 'Dear John' letter from Flybe..What do you think????
I know its baffling i got an instant NO from monument and i really wasnt expecting it. Perhaps theyv upped the stakes a bit!! :p
If we all took an eye for an eye the world would be blind-(someone said that somewhere) :T

Ok, first try Capital One, then try Monument, Capital One search Experian and Equifax and Monument only search Call Credit, let us know how you get on, if you run the applications before 21:00 you should get an automated decision as the CRA's lock their databases after around 21:00 for re-indexing.
