Hello, I applied for the AMEX Green thing, didnt get a decision at all other than we will write to you in 5 days, checked my files today and no searches been done?
Good luck! The Green card is great for travel as AMEX have loads of partners, so you do get a lot of discount at restaurants and hotels around the world. I was in Asia + Australia this summer and saved loads on restaurants and hotels. Best thing I love about this card is that you have no pre-set spending limit and there is no worrying about APR as you have to pay them back in full every month. You also earn reward points which can be used to fund a holiday or redeemed against gift vouchers etc. Too bad there's an annual fee, but I'm willing to pay it as the benefits outweigh the cost.
P.S. I think you have a good chance of being accepted as this card carries an annual fee and does not allow long term borrowing0 -

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

Hello guys and gals (and aliens if there any here?!)
As ya can see, a newbie is me! (yay im a poet and i didnt know it!)And I have a question lol.
I was just wondering what general chances of getting accepted for a flybe card are like?
I don't have any CCJ's or defaults on my history although it will be low as I do have a 2 month outstanding orange phone bill, and have recently had about 3 or 4 searches on my account as I have been applying to sub-prime cards Vanquis, Capital One, Aqua, and Barclaycard Initial - all of whom accepted me.
By this you may wonder why the hell I chose to apply for the flybe card too, but I read about it here, and got a case of itchy trigger finger lol and therefore clicked apply before I knew what I was doing!
I'm 24 and have an income of about £12,000 at moment and I am on electoral role.
Any help/personal abuse/beer welcome! :beer:0 -
