Morning All
Posting a 2.2lb loss this week, not sure how, as I had been out for two meals, had a birthday cake etc but there is no rugby?? Still did the gym, but normal levels and had a couple of walks. Considering though next weekend is my Rugby Club End of Season Dinner and the following weekend I will be in Cardiff for the Heineken Cup I guess I need a little leewayMaybe its the warmer weather means I am back on the salads again?
Other interesting numbers
Body Fat down from 25.7% to 25.3%
BMI down from 32.8 to 32.5
Muscle Mass down from11st 7.8lb to 11st 6.8lb
Well done to Jules and Sue on your losses too. Ajax have a damm fine time chap!
Back soon, work phone rings away

missyg I used to love aunt bessies cottage pie and that is  with cals and I would eat it all myself:eek: now never touch them, have not had one since Jan 07 when this started and now prob would not even enjoy it:rolleyes:0 -
Ajax I don't see why he wouldn't, my dog remembers people who he doesnt see from one year to the next.
Missyg I really wouldnt worry about 1.5lb, honestly the only thing that makes it important is that you've noticed it. As I always say "2lb? I could take a poop and lose that"
Suggs Well done! I live near Cardiff, why is so many sports things taking place here all of a sudden?:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -

Well done Ted! :T :T I'm gald you've found a way that works for you.
One of the many things I love about this forum is the fact that there are many many people successfully losing weight in a variety of different ways. We all find the style that suits us, and clearly you have done that, as have our other inspirational contributors who have lost massive amounts.
There is no one RIGHT way. It's what works for you. Generally people who post on here seem to be happy to let us each get on with it as we think best.0 -

I'd like to add to that - the other thing about this thread is that people can motive you without even trying to - just by telling you what they are up. Suggs' revelation about applying to run the London Marathon together with other people's signature about running a race for life made me get off my butt and start running. I was always the one behind the back of the bunch running round the sports pitch at school before hockey etc. I used to hope that the teacher didn't notice that most people had lapped me and maybe i could get away with just doing one lap not two. In the last few weeks I have run between 3-5 km twice a week, which I know for some is not a lot but for me is a GREAT achievement. It's a case of "If they can do it, maybe I can!"

lo all!
it's just taken me AGES to get thorugh the last pages, i really must try to be less busy. wendy, I'll pm you nearer the time for lincoln it would be nice to see you. We will have to not go to the ice cream shop, no way, not at all. Sorry to hear about your car tagz, hope it doesn't take too long to fix.
#Am saving up this weeks syns for a pizza blow out on sat - got a really luscious sounding onefrom waitrose. And frankly, I deserve it, becauce OH started up that baby thing again this week and actually got to the stage of finding somewhere else to live. He hasn't been back home since it happened, but it's been . . .challenging. He seems to think that he should be able to just walk back in like nothing happened, but it's going to take a while for me to trust him again. Still it's been a good week for my business and i'm more or less on top of my work load so it's not all bad.
10past6, try looking at the recipe thread non page one of this one. You'll find plenty of simple things. Ready meals are convenient, and if you are calorie or fat gram counting they probably can work. but it's expensive, and there's often ingredients in there that aren't especially natural - which could also be a weight thing.0 -
Congrats on the loss Suggs, a bit of leeway is always a good thing before events like that!
Your other numbers are looking really great, don't forget that while your muscle weight is down slightly, so is your overall weight so the % will be roughly about the sameReally impressed you lost weight in a birthday week though!!!
Safesound :rotfl: thanks for the giggleIf only it was that simple!
Grannynise/Efrieze, I agree with both of you wholeheartedly. It's the variety that keeps this thread interesting and it's great to know if I have questions on any sort of weight loss topic, there is nearly always someone knowledgable in that particular area who can help
Wotcha KPC, so sorry to hear about things at homeYou had a feeling that might start up again didn't you?
I have to confess I didn't get on my bike earlier as I decided to look for clothes in Tesco and took the car so I could get milk, juice and some other very healthy stuff to help in my quest for getting better at fruit, veg & wholegrains.
Which of course means I now have a serious workout to do to make up for it! So I will see you lot later!0 -
Got a replacement car for my MPV. It's a brand new Land Rover Discovery 3! I drive a manual but this is an automatic - I'm too terrified to drive it:eek: . Will wait until my OH gets home before I get into it.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0

Well done Suggs :j :j When you retire from rugby you'll turn into a beanpole
...
...KPC I'm sorry to read that that problem has reared it's head again, but I'm not surprised. Unfortunately it's a problem that, to me, doesn't have a compromise, as one or the other of you will end up being unhappy. I do hope though that something can be worked out, but if not I wish you the strength to deal with whatever happens...
...AjaxIt's not 'the dog' - it's Bailey
I hope he has a lovely time with his old chums :j ...
...I'm eating ice cream as if it's going out of fashion today, yum!...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
