I can vouch that canterbury is a darn good pilgrimage :p

Your dad sounds fun BB. I think i'll be like that! Also, is this just me? that whenever your dad pays you a compliment, its actually genuine. I dont think i cant take a compliment from anyone but him. He will always comment if i wear a skirt or a dress, he thinks all women should be feminine and not look like a lesbian in a pair of jeans all the time but fashion permits...

OK so I've started again with the wii fit this eve - no stupid weight loss targets this time just a maintain :p Did 171m with my first ski jump - haha. Why, why is there not an "A" button on the balance board that you can operate with a toe? So fed up of holding the wotsit thingy especially during yoga poses  Anyway my wii fit age is 6 years younger than my actual age, don't know if that's good cos I haven't done much on it yet...

Glad you had a nice time yesterday BB, bless your Dad and him not wanting anything 80 :p Hope you feel a bit more oomphy tomorrow x I've made a note of those authors' names as that sounds right up my street reading material wise! Wow, cycling and Norway, 2 of my favourite things and you did them both together! :D If you ever want a good traveller's tale from Norway, I'd recommend Summer Light by Andrew Stevenson.

Vix, good luck, sending positive vibes from here!

Another good day on the old calorie front - only 200 cals to claw back now for the rest of the week, shouldn't be a problem, didn't do myself any favours by going over on Monday and Tuesday though

the dragon soup wise I always have healthy baxters soups less than 200 cals the whole can(makes me laugh when they say so and so cals per 1/2 can as if you would only have 1/2:rotfl: ) or slim a soup:D

Nessa56 Many congratulations on that 16 months since you quit, such a great achievement, well done indeed.

Another 1LB loss this week and I'm quite happy enough with that. Congratulations to all others who've lost some, to those who are trying but not quite getting a loss too as it's still good to be dieting and keeping fit any way. I'm still hoping my time for a Wii won't be too far away as they sound really good from all that you're saying about them.

Thanks for all the encouraging posts and tips everyone.

Also - thank goodness for Martin's 'There's no such thing as a stupid question, as this is one - does anyone know of a Glasgow WW meeting between 28/5>2/6 which I could perhaps attend? I've tried their Find a Meeting thing, but without a postcode or county to enter, I'm getting nowhere. WW site doesn't like me putting 'glasgow' only.

Ah ha, found it, I've been all over this site looking for a thread like this, I've posted in SW and on another thread, no one's directed me here

OK, hi everyone, I'm trying desperatly to lose weight, I burn 1000 calories a day on my treadmill, but the weight is just not moving

Is their anything on the market that counts my daily calorie INTAKE?

Some history, I'm on a DMP, and in the process of an IVA application, therefore I do not have the funds to attend SW / WW.

I live on ready meals, as I'm useless at cooking, I wouldn't have a clue where to begin :o

Thanks for reading my post, and any advice will be grately appreciated.
