Well what a strange day! Came out of aquafit with my sister chatting about how lovely a day it was when I noticed a car was embedded into the side of mine:eek: . I had parked in a car park and a woman form the same class as me had parked in front of me in the next section. Howverher car's handbrake had 'come loose' and rolled back into mine. However with the slope and her wheels being slightly turned it rolled in an arc and smashed into my front wheel. The passenger door, the wing and the wheel arch are all crumpled. Had to wait a couple of hours fro the recovery lorry and then had to walk home! Silly cow even admitted that her car was on it's last legs and was on it's way out!

Oh well at least it was a nice day(weather that is!)!

Oh tagz! that is horrible - will your insurance company pay out for a hire car whilst you are getting the car fixed (and did you resist thwocking her one!)

    Greetings everyone!

Thank you all so much for your thanks (I really feel like I've won an award - ha ha!)

I was actually really worried that I would be down as a GAIN this week - as my monthlies started on Tue (the day before weigh in!) - I was not happy about that at all as I ALWAYS gain weight during the first few days - and I had been so good all week. I'm amazed I've appeared not to. I hope I'm okay for next week!

starlight - congrats on losing 5.5 inches - I'd be delighted with that!:D

ampersand - well done on making it to the one stone milestone - I think a celebration is in order! Also good luck on finding a WW meeting in Glasgow. I'm amazed that their website doesn't allow you to simply search for meetings in the "Glasgow Area" - that's really bad web design! They are a big company too - you'd think they'd know better  I'd get failed if I had tried a stunt like that back in my uni days!

anic - Sounds like you've had a bad week - however I'm sure you will be back on track soon as you've already done so well. I love the target breakdown in your signature - it's a great idea to focus on individual milestones (metal note to self *steal this idea*).

tagz - bad news about your car - I hope you didn't have to walk too far to get back home!

wendy - I hope your voice comes back soon so that you can have your revenge on OH - he'll be sorry - ha ha! Use your "silent time" now to devise a cunning plan...:rotfl:

bails - congrats on your bingo winnings! :j Are you going to treat yourself to something nice or are they going into the bank?

everyone else - well done on your losses / chin up and good luck to the gainers.

    Take care everyone!

Tagz HOpefully her insurance will pay up soon ,irresponsible to have a car like that on the road and know it is like that:eek:

bails well done on the win, it is always great to know that people do win something:D

I have been in the kitchen for 2 hours baking the choc orange muffins, oat biscuits and almond cake on the GC thread and there looks masses there but when the kids get back from school and bring their friends in:rolleyes: I never eat and it never bothers me to cook it as I can't eat it anyway but the kids love the home baking so today is their day:D

    Hey everyone!

Sorry to hear about you car tagz! The most annoying thing i find it the inconvienience of not having a car. Really rubbish. I hope it gets fixed soon

Ajax: Negative on both counts! How pants. Are those games you mentioned any good?

Todays exam was alright, blimming boring and blimming cold! Im really excited about tomorrow, my college class is going to have a picnic by the river in some gardens after our last exam. Probably one of the last times i'll be with them all together :(

Bought a top today from topshop - dunno about it though. For once, my boobs fitted into the boob compartment! I also had a skin consultation with clinique, ive got the 1-2-3 step, city block stuff and eye cream. Would have come to over £80 but im getting it for £56 roughly. Now i dont normally spend this kinda dosh but i think my skin will benefit!

Oh and in my email account was a voucher for 20% off swimwear in H&M so a shopping trip (again) beckons! Its gunna be an expensive month i feel :p

catcha later, im off to do boring revision for the last time EVER!!

Don't be silly Vic, I'm organising it :rotfl:I'll be quite honest, I was in Brighton when I was getting some of your email addresses so I've written them on a piece of paper...which is now hiding in lots of other pieces of paper on my desk...the rest of them are saved n my laptop so as soon as I find the paper I'll email peeps and get the ball rolling. I'm hoping to find it tomorrow if I have time, and if I can't find it then I'm afraid I'll be asking for some of them again :o Are you sure you want me in charge of this thing :rotfl:I will get a grip soon I promise!

The GC grocery challenge thread has opened my eyes to some fantastic savings/ideas and there are some fab recipes on there, I Mean did you think to use the inner from the cereal packets to line individual slices of meat into the freezer with? Did you know that Lynx is only called that in UK but elsewhere is called AXE which they sell at poundland so for all the fussy OH they still get the Lynx Africa smell but we get the money still in our pockets, brill thread.:D Did you know that someone on there lives off £100 a month for food and last night on the It pays to watch show with Martin Lewis the lady spent £260 a week, a week:eek: that and we waste over 1/3rd of all our food shop, not anymore for me no sire, everything gets used up, some great recipes to use them up with the kids are loving all the home baking:D

As for the good enough club, I think it was bails or maybe beanilou or bargain babe one of them was saying accept what you are and you are you so you are good enough, so I joined my own good enough club:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: because let's face it I am not that bad, I am good enough:D
