Hi Folks,
Sorry I haven't checked in with you in ages. See I missed the chart but e-frieze, can you please put a 1lb gain on for this week so if I have any losses next week it'll be a true figure.
Congrats to everyone who's lost or maintained this week. Was supposed to be doing a kick start this week but it didn't really work out that well so far with the good weather. I took today off to have a family day at home and it was brilliant. I'm absolutely knackered now and am off to bed.
Day one again tomorrow.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Well it had to happen eventually - my losing record is now lost. Post me up for a 2lb gain. reintroduced rather too many carbs back into the diet rather too quickly - especially at the fete with the free pig roast (being in receipt of a case of wine on a lovely bank holiday weekend helped in its own way).
Ah well - more positively my OH was sorting out some pictures and found a side on one of me showing my gut-bucket as it was when I was 3.5 stones heavier. I have a lot to go still, but it made me feel good to see how far I had come (as well as slightly queasy in an oh for gods sake put that away sort of way)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Well what a strange day! Came out of aquafit with my sister chatting about how lovely a day it was when I noticed a car was embedded into the side of mine:eek: . I had parked in a car park and a woman form the same class as me had parked in front of me in the next section. Howverher car's handbrake had 'come loose' and rolled back into mine. However with the slope and her wheels being slightly turned it rolled in an arc and smashed into my front wheel. The passenger door, the wing and the wheel arch are all crumpled. Had to wait a couple of hours fro the recovery lorry and then had to walk home! Silly cow even admitted that her car was on it's last legs and was on it's way out!
Oh well at least it was a nice day(weather that is!)!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
hello all. well done firstly to all losers! thanks for the suggestions and tips people, i still dont really know what cardio really is and i guess im not sure if im doing that?
as of yesterday i decided i will walk 500 miles by the end of the year - so far 12.07! easier when the weathers nice. have also been pushing myself to go faster. apparently you should struggle to hold a conversation - as i am alone i usually try to sing!
i am eating 1500 cals per day, 2000 on a saturday and drinking more water.
i am trying to do the yogalates 3 times a week now.
stopped the weights as friend said should lose weight first but now thinking bring them back if they help burn more cals?
measured this am and have lost an inch here or there and gained an inch in other places. so really its just moved! i think whats upsetting me more is that the weight lost last year has went straight to bum and tum rather than all over so thats making it harder to fit new clothes. however did get some nice organic tesco jeans - just have belly to accessorise!
today i did 45 mins yogalates
walked 12587steps (6 miles) and ate 1450 cals
total cals saved\burned today 1149!Cc debt; £4950 Tesco - £3.37 Boots - £3.94 £2 pot - £0.00 Sealed pot NO40 - £7.87 no spend days jan-3/31 £2 savers = £60 -
feeling bit sorry for myself not slept bad throat temperature and lost voice [why is OH smiling bout that] can only sip iced water. So will lose next week if this continues.tagz sorry to here about the car ,hope you get it sorted quickly luv mummy wendy xxx P.S. OH will suffer if he says once more he's looking for a get well slowly card as the silence is nicel:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

Also - thank goodness for Martin's 'There's no such thing as a stupid question, as this is one - does anyone know of a Glasgow WW meeting between 28/5>2/6 which I could perhaps attend? I've tried their Find a Meeting thing, but without a postcode or county to enter, I'm getting nowhere. WW site doesn't like me putting 'glasgow' only.

... dunno if this would work ampersand, but could you find the address of a business in Glasgow and use their postcode in the WW Find a Meeting?0
