Many a time as a child i used to take my knickers off randomly.

... no change there then. :p

Suggs, I'll back you up with Rubens. He was always gonna be the "new Senna" (as if such a beast could exist) but played second fiddle to Mr Ego instead :)

Yep missy, no problem with the file here. Suggs' suggestion seemed almost knowledge based:p, have you checked that out victory?

Vix you are recognised by my wii, and that can only happen if both people have each others numbers entered. It can take a little longer than you'd expect so hold tight. I've sent you a message.

Welcome to our lovely thread Nicci welcoehithernicetomeetywb3.gifA lot of us here don't go to clubs to lose weight, as long as you've got some will power and determination you can do it on your own. There are numerous web sites that give information, so have a google and choose something that fits in with your lifestyle, food preferences etc. Make sure you include some of your favourites so that you don't get bored and remember that we all have bad days, but don't let them get you down, just come here and you'll get all the support you need. My daughter is only 4'11" so I know how you feel...

...Ajax Have this on me ol' chum lagerem3.gif:D ...

...Wendy I dont want to be too technical, but it's known as sod's law :D I'll bet that next week that you'll have a good loss (maybe even tomorrow;) )...

...Well done to all losers :j :j Sorry peeps, I'm a bit busy today plus the tennis, so good luck to those of you still to weigh in...

Thanks for being guinea pig with the spreadsheet Ajax.

When son is at school tomorrow I'm going to have a couple of hours alone with my wii fit trainer ;) I shall report back once I've had a proper go. I think I'm going to have to delete what I've done today because I entered a silly weight loss goal thinking I could change it later and I should have just put STS :rotfl:

Then I'll have to sort out exchanging numbers with people on here when I know what I'm doing!

How is the tennis going Pet, and are you enjoying that new telly?

Much better day for me calorie wise, I should be able to even it out by the end of the week. Tomorrow I'm booking our indoor climbing induction :D:D:D

... this, in my humble opinion, is far from a good idea. Your body will need to adjust to your new size and toning will do a lot of good. You will need to do more than just lose weight, there is a sustainable aspect to it too. Even light exercise will help - self improvement long term trumps faddish weight loss any day - as the top performers here will tell you.
The role of exercise in Post Polio Syndrome is well known and I do assure you I do what my body permits. My point in mentioning the fact that no additional exercise has been involved in my weight loss is to drive home the point that while exercise is indeed an important aspect of maintaining a healthy body it's role in weight loss is more to do with medical dogma and myth than related to actual weight loss.
I do assure you that my waist has gone from around 42inches to below 36 and there are no spare folds of flab showing where the fat has disappeared from.

Only someone who hasn't listened to Taubes talk here or read his book
would suggest that eating in a way our bodies spend 2 million years becoming fined tuned to was in any way faddish.

In the same way eventually people will realise that the level of25(OH)D that maximises the flow of Vitamin D in breast milk is optimal for everyone's health so eventually people will suss out that eating a low carb diet is best for heart and brain health.

We managed for 2 million years living mainly outdoors and eating foods that could be acquired easily. This talk by Loren Cordain should help you understand better how many of the chronic conditions of western society orginate from our reliance on refined carbohydrates.

    Hiya everyone :D

I kinda gave up on this one, because I didn't have much to lose I thought I was much better joining the health kick club.

    HOWEVER.

Somebody mentioned in the lose weight 19 topic about a site were you record what you've eaten/exercise youve done etc. I joined it but can't remember what it was called and didn't save it in my favourites :o Can anyone help? I know there's loads of these types of sites about but this was a good one. Would take me forever to go through the old topic to find it.

    Thanks
