Victory - add some salt & pepper - or try adding some spices : cumin, paprika, chilli or even just curry powder.

I love making soup and find that if you use this:

    your soup always tastes good.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Victory

How about adding some spices to make it a curried lentil soup? Or if you haven't already a stock cube.
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

I must say our family has a good laugh most nights at 6:30 listening to our rubbish news. We always laugh about how the ginger one (bev! just remembered) wears those horrible white trousers suits that are too short in the leg. Then theres the stories they report on!! Totally random and half of them arent even news. They also baffle on about how some woman in the war time mingled with movie stars, then the next story is how someone got murdered in kent or something. Totally bizarre.

Kaddy we always comment on her clothes, she has no dress sense what so ever. 4 different colours on with some that clash, boots with summer skirts.

I cant believe the BBC let them report like that! Even Chris moyles took the mick out of our news! well funny.

Right - Victory - have a seat whilst Auntie Dellybelly talks at you......

I understand that this is a moneysaving website and that we'reall here to try and save ourselves some cash... but even Martin :money: says that there are some things you shouldn't economise on... toilet roll is one of them.:D . and ok, it's just my opinion but if you're on a healthy eating plan and your diet is even more restricted because of your health - the food you should be eating should not be watery and sloppy and bleugh just cos you need to save money....it should be gorgeous, tasty, filling, satisfying and healthy....

Chuck the soup Victory .... eat something else....

morning all, I am better today, but hubby seems to have contracted the dreaded lurgy! I am going to my mums to be throughly spoilt rotten (dread to think what calories I am going to consume) with lamb roast dinner and sticky toffee pudding - I shall just have a small bit! yeah right!

I'll leave him in bed to hopefully recover. Have a good Sunday all and remember, we've got another day off! hooray.
