how are you getting along now?
Thanks for asking Delly
I joined the gym on Thursday, wasn't impressed by the induction and have made this clear to the manager in a strongly worded letter. This weekend the diet was always going to be a no no as we went to the Army v Navy Rugby at Twickenham and the beer tent was mandatory lol.
I'm not quite struggling as much as I was but have mad the decision to start afresh on Monday after my friend goes back to Cornwall.
I have all the ingredients in to do the two week RC kick start and am
determined once again. I've been boosted today by fitting in to a pair of size 18 trousers:j and along with my size 18 tops I bought the other week I'm feeling more confident even thinking about buying something from Primark for the first time in my life! (am being forced to take my friend there as there isn't one in the back of beyond where she lives lol!)
Will keep you all posted on progress as usualWeight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -
Jules, get to primark quick sharp! When you go in ask the staff what days they get the deliveries, then you can go and get a good pick of the good stuff!
Your world will be a better place with primark in it

Yeah - the gym is the worst don't you think. I reckon once they get you signed up you can stuff off. I signed a 14 month contract and haven't been since last July for various reason (the main one being that I hate the gym) but haven't heard a peep from them ....
I'm glad you're more focused and doing the RC kick start. Do you still go to the classes? I've bought this month's RC magazine cos I really miss my class. The franchisee wound it up just after I had DS. Has the diet changed much? I've still got my 5 star diet stuff and was thinking of giving that another go....
Good luck with the kick start and congrats on getting into 18's.... have fun at Primark - I always love their PJ's.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
:rotfl: I have just made lentil soup, far too watery and tasteless, loathed to throw it out as it is just not MSE:D any ideas how to add a bit of taste? I guess I will just have to eat it watery but tasteless as well:rolleyes:
..... bulk it up with red peppers. They can be expensive I guess but lentils with red peppers is a combination sent by the gods. Add the previously mentioned spices too.0 -
Hello all!
I feel great today, I actually have some achy muscles from the swimming! I really had to go for it to beat my record by closing time, so I was swimming out of my skin for the last 20 lengths or soI also noticed they have changed their swimming attire policy, you can wear long sleeved and long legged costumes now, which can only be a good thing for people who don't like to wear a cossie?
Today is a rest day and it will be a proper rest day, not one where I sneak in a bit of "easy yoga" or 10 mins on one of the machines :rotfl: The most exercise I'm going to do is the ironing
Brighton Belle - thanks for the offer of helping with recipies! I'm going to see how I get on just adding some finely grated veg to my usual favourite dishes, but I'll definitely yell if I struggle. Thank youThe fruit allergy is disappointing, I also have a tree nut allergy, but that's the way it is and there's no point letting it get me down, it's not like there aren't loads of other foods I can enjoy. Since it appeared virtually overnight, maybe someday it will go away overnight!
Julesgr, what happened (or didn't happen) at the gym induction? (Ignore me if it's personal). I'm sorry to hear it wasn't what it should have been, that's not goodGreat news about the clothes size though, and good luck with the kick start!
Hope everyone on here is having a great weekend!0 -
I remember at the gym when the hunky bloke pulled out a two pronged thing to measure your fatness.

They should employ mingers to do that sort of thing.0 -
