Morning gorgeous peeps!
Vix - it's not as bad as it sounds with M&S - they do great basics like plain long & short sleeve t-shirts, vest tops (often 3 for 2!) & cheap trackie bottoms which I practically live in. Forgive me?My next challenge will be finding some nice fitted crop trousers, I want them to HUG my figure, not just hang off my waist!
Good luck with the revision, it's a long time since I've done any but from what I remember it is better to take a break if it's not sinking in... oh I see Serendisglair has given some better advice
My son has money saved for a wii and I might go halves with him on the wii fitGenerally we wait for the initial hype to die down on new things and then try to get a better deal. Could any of you lovely wii fit people tell me if it's possible to do the workouts etc with 2 people at the same time? My son would probably love competing with me on stuff!
Kymrob, are you sure you're not wasting away there?! Congratulations once again! Please share your tactics with us! Wonderful loss from Safesound too! Proof that one takeaway doesn't spoil things!
Pet, have a nice day at the shops! Great to hear about your lists/tackling, will we start to see more of your posts again soon?
Glad you had a good day PinkLipgloss, thanks for the pic! Weather is lovely here this morning so I would normally go for a bike ride too, but I'm saving my energy for swimming later.
The plan is going great for me this week, I'm under my cals and I've exercised every day (tomorrow will be a rest day before anyone yells at me!) No TOTM messing things up this week either :rolleyes:0 -
feeling really worn out today. Must be sensible and take it easy. It's probably all this vicarious exercise I'm getting through you lot:rotfl: . All this wii talk goes right over my head. Never played a computer game in my life. No nuffin about them. Sounds like you are all having fun though which is great.
Vix -do be careful about not getting prescriptions. I was in my early 20's and did exactly the same, and ldidn't look after my self properly and have paid a heavy price with my health for the last 20 years. Your health is very precious.
The weekend you are coming back to Brighton is right in the middle of the festival here and there will be lots of street artists around the area you explored last time so masses of people but good atmosphere and fun (unless p***ing down with rain:D )
Missyg/granny - it is so wierd about the 'no clothes my size whatever that is' thing: exactly the same happened to me when I got measured for a bra size last weekend. Everything I liked, mine was the only size they had non left of. And still take the larger clothes size into changing roomsI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
I read about this supplement in a magazine some time ago and have just googled it for more info. It's a remedy devised by Jan deVries in assoc with Michelle Mone (Ultimo bras). It looks like he's made it but she's doing the marketing. I read somewhere that it was great for weight loss but apart from the website promoting the product, I can't find any other reviews. Anyone tried it and what do you think? BTW, the website is www.trimsecrets.com

Hope you feel better soon BB, there has been a lot more exercise chat on here lately hasn't there?!
On the topic of health I'm going to start making much more of an effort to get my full 5-a-day. I know I can be better at this. It's difficult for me because I'm allergic to a lot of fruits (very annoying as this only started later in life... I loved fruits before this happened), as well as some veg, and I don't LIKE a lot of other veg
I have made a list of the fruits that don't give me a reaction, and the veg I like - and also another list of veg I'm not so keen on that I'm going to try 'disguising' in other meals.
This is the one "health" area in my life where I know I'm not up to scratch so I am determined to make it betterWhen I keep my food diary I'm listing the 5-a-day stuff separately from now on so I can keep track.
Looking forward to my swim later! Hope it's not too busy at the pool.0 -

I'm a bit of a Rosemary Conley fan and keep a tally of my meals/calories etc in my Rosemary Conley Journal, at the bottom of each daily page is a tally/checklist for 5 glasses of water, 5 fruit and veg, 5 meals/snacks, + milk, + exercise.
It's good 'cos it keeps me focused each day to try to drink enough water and eat my 5 a day. Weekends are the hardest for me, during the week I take fruit for my am and pm snacks - so that's 2 taken care of without even trying.
The journals are a bit pricey though, but you can sometimes get them off Ebay.
My weekly result on 10709 calories was 0.2lb loss (so effectively sts), so that puts me between Sedentary and Lightly Active - but closer to the Lightly Active - that seems about right. Shall now go and work out my BMR for next week. I love this system of yours :T

I havejust had a personal phone call from sainsburys apologizing for the way I got treated in their store the other day(accused of nicking a lady's shopping and ordered to empty my own 4 wheel trolley to show that I had not taken it:eek: ) and have been credited with a £20 vocher to buy anything to 'cheer myself up' with so I am cheered and cleared:D bonus:D0
